  1. Wow I'm forever in your debt... well not really what I meant to say was thanks for the great smiley!
  2. Welcome! Have a good time here!
  3. This was extremely hard but in the end I had to vote for: Skalldyr!
  4. Oooh lovely bank lightningtiger . It looks great with the tiled floor and the ATM is very nice. Well Done!
  5. Some of these entries are hilarious. Sadly I'll have to withdraw from entering for the prize. I'm in the middle of a clear out and I could do without any other stuff right now, I'm even limiting my LEGO buying! That won't spare you what I have prepared though. Some members may find this a little disturbing... possibly, if anyone does find it disturbing then I've linked to the insperation video just for you! As you can see Dastan is err... mating with this strangly large kapako bird while an envious Tamina tries to lure Dastan away with her new outfit. As this is happening an ostrich riding PSPCA detective watches in anger. In order to understand the kapako thing I suggest you to the end. (Don't worry, nothing happens) I hope you've enjoyed my entry and I'm sure I'll regret not nabbing a Pop DUPLO block...possibly.
  6. I understand what you mean there. I think though that my main reason for enjoying it (already stated) was that it was way better than the episodes before it in my opinion.
  7. I would never buy a set just for the figs (excluding battle packs). I would like to but I don't have enough money for that. Instead I see a minifig as part of a set it is a factor in whether I would buy it or not, just but not a very big one. I guess I'm in a group of people who purchased the 2006 Slave 1 and are desperately hoping the new Boba Fett minifig will be in a good quality magnet set. The same goes for Grievous's Starfighter. Good Topic.
  8. I agree. I don't understand the hate towards it, to me it was a breath of relief after that horrid dalek two-parter and an average story about Lazarus. Almost everything there I agree with but as I have already said The Lazarus Experiment wasn't too bad in my opinion, instead merely average. I'd also put Journeys End as the worst finale ever (It was a big disappointment on so many levels, from the immediate resolution of all of the cliffhangers to rubbing out the torchwood team save a breif cameo at the end, or the terrible resolution involving spinning daleks and the tow truck tardis. I could go on but it would take a while.) then putting Last of the Time Lords second and finaly The End of Time. Add Voyage of the Dammned (which I feel is just a pointless run-around aiming for spectacle only) and the list is complete IMO. On the subject of best stories I will get the ball rolling: Dalek If we must get daleks every series then this is what they should be like. Blink An amazing intro to my faviourite Doctor Who villians plus a well crafted story and a brilliant possible companion. Whats not to like? Midnight Mysterious monster and the Doctor is helpless to a bunch of paranoid humans. Genius! There's definitely more but thats all I have for now.
  9. Wow those are nice. I'd be honoured if you could do one for me.
  10. Meh, I voted for average. The only real pulling point for me is the wampa. I might get this if I feel like a quick build but otherwise this will not be bought by me. The price is just not good enough. TLC is releasing bigger and better sets this year IMO.
  11. Wow that looks amazing, definetaly getting it.
  12. Well this is a shock. Sign me up!
  13. Same for me! On the desert set for PoP there was a strange figure not on the cast list. Who could he be? It was the cleaner, complete with his broom! Fed up with the likes of actor Jake Gyllenhaal thinking that he's so much better than silly cleaners with his fake skin tone, Angus McRougalDougal decided to find a suitable costume and clean the set while the movie was being filmed. Interesting fact, 50% of the film had to be re-shot as Angus can be seen in the background. NOTE: The passage above is not reliably sourced, therefore any information may or may not be true.
  14. Now that I've thought about the episode some more a few things have popped up. Firstly as already mentioned these angels were acting completely differant to before, but that didn't really detract from my enjoyment. River Song took more of a back seat throughout a lot of this episode. Finally did anyone notice the doctor's magic coat? Plot error or intentionally there?
  15. Flesh and Stone was a great episode. It was nice that the crack in the wall was addressed instead of just reappearing at the end of every episode as in the last few series. Definitely suprised by the weeping angels moving after seeing them stand still all the time. Not as good as last weeks episode but good none the less.
  16. Thank you for the pictures. The ship looks ok but the interior is pretty empty to me. I think I'll pass on this one.
  17. Nice work yet again lightningtiger. I always enjoy seeing your creations. Well done!
  18. A week from now.
  19. Welcome to eurobricks I hope you have a great time!
  20. Spectacularly well done hippotam. I love every little detail of it. Theres so much to take in! Awesome!
  21. That book looks good. Hopefully it will be easily available.
  22. YAYYYYY! It's finished and I must say it looks great! I've run out of praise for this model so just look up all of my other comments. Very well done!
  23. Reading an episode summary is nothing compared to watching the real thing. It's like reading the script of a film, it's not the same. Just watch it on i-player during the day when it shouldn't scare you much. Did anyone else notice the two heads thing before the doctor? Or was I just so on edge that I noticed everything?
  24. Great! I was starting to get worried that you wouldn't be able to feed my addiction any more. For some reason they haven't opened a rehab center for lightningtiger-itus. On your progress now. I like it, cannot wait to see it complete!
  25. I like it. The yellow van looks really good, simplistic but it proves that sometimes studs showing still looks nice. Well Done!
