this is one of my favorites among the newer citys on brickshelf. it adds two things that most towns are sadly lacking, compactness and height. like panda said the only thing lacking would be some kind of train. hopes to see a train added a cople of years down the road

the only example i have encountered is that enlighten brick is stealing brickdesign from megabloks as well as lego. oh well both brands are cheap(er) ways to set up an modern army. must say that i prefare the tank of the bestlock, but the color of the minifigs in the oxford set.

well a new castle wouldnt be wrong, can never have to many of those. i wonder if the third one actually comes around to become a product. and a new minifig pack that adds students other than harry, ron, hermy and draco would be nice

i would suggest the creator sets then. they are not really in any theme and contains good parts that can be used to build many things. and welcome to eurobricks

the first three would have loocked good whitout the minifigs i think. the second looks like the dropship from alien but the moment you add the minifig to the cocpit its way to small to act as such

if you look on brickshelf you will find that the front of the new plane is usable as a train, and the back was a major part in a beutiful sub moc the only thing that cant be used is those horrible wings. other than that im quite happy with the planes, they look good and are way more better scaled than those old 4wide planes. while i prefer the old 4wide cars over the new 6wide the old planes where the ones really out of scale. the only problem with the new planes are that the runways are way to small nowadays. please bring better runways tlc.

il probably have to reevaluate my stance on not getting any of the rc trains that new track is amazing. i like the new train station as well, this one looks like it could also serve as a gods/postal station so dome of the cargotrains could stop before it and dont feel out of place, something that has been lacking in recent years. i wonder if my local toystores will bother getting any of the new track-packs, the 9v track hasnt been around these parts for several years now. well anyway thanks for posting the pics, much appreciated.

i just was at the tlc online store and noticed that the rc train was missing, and i mean all of them both train and the rail packs and this was the case on both the swedish, us and uk settings. just a temporal glitch?

the iceplanet 2002 ice station odyssey 6983-1 included a white baseplate so they have existed. if anyone knows of more sets feel free to post images or refs here

they placed the original engine on the tender? man that just suck your mod seem fine to me, a little question tho do you use all 28 trains on the track at the same time or do you have half of them on shelves? im not assuming you can run all of them at the same time tho.

i was going to say something about the promixity of the fuel stations but then i remebered that the closest town to where i live has a crossing with a fuel station i three corners of four so meh cant really say that as the real world is even worse. other than that i can only complement on the houses. they add much to the town, take rather few pieces and seems very playfriendly.

i hope you`re not dissing the tower crane, then i must qualify you as an heretic and purge you with fire. (kidding) i intend to use the crane to assemble the monorail track (at least for now) since half the towns transports cant pass under something less than 20 bricks high. and to stay on topic. it would be great to have an official sky scraper, minifig size but labelled as an ultimate collector series or if thats to much of a fuss then perhaps an online only version. then theres always factory to consider i assume. but so far ive only seen backdrop models and nothing aqtually playable. i would build one myself but i cant stand that program. im still stuck on that slave market im building and that design was very simplistic.

thanks glad to be here. im awaiting the airport shuttle myself as the 6991-1 monorail transport base (space unitron) grew to small for my town. i guess is an issue depending on your living conditions, i must say ive been pretty lucky both in my lack of general expenses (rent, food etc) and the fact that i have a rather good place to keep my layout at.

i will get the landing craft, the atst and a cople of clone battle pack atlest. the ywing look a little short and wide compared to the ones in the movies. will perhaps get it if i feel the need for more battle droids i know where to get them. the only thing i cant see myself getting is the grievius fighter, mostly since its a unique ship and have nothing to do in a space battle.
