I was just wondering how everyone makes the connections between the different stories of you Modular houses. I know that TLC technically doesn't have any connections, but I find it obtrusive to try and build slots for them.

I agree. My favorite part is the great handle on the bottom. That's a really great thing to have in a set (remember; playability is also being able to hold it...) while also being non-obtrusive.

I think I might go for the Adventurers now. I think a "thin" one would be better for a squarer look. However, if I can get some more convincing arguments, I might change my mind.
