I've edited the title topic to include [REVIEW] and set number. Not doing it like we usually do when it comes to the title can make it really hard to index.

We're still working on the skin. I've added a few widgets to the block to ease your use of it. First there's now an RSS feed on the Eurobricks Frontpage so you wont miss anything important should you decide to use EurobricksStarWarsForum.com as your portal to your daily dose of EB. At the bottom of the widgets, I've added thumb links to the 2011 News Index, MOC Index, Review Index and .pdf Index. There's also a sign-up possibility to keep you guys updated on the news posted on the blog. There's a category list, a forum flickr list and a direct link to our forum. So how about it? Anything else you guys need there?

Good - we always aim to make people feel welcome. Oooh another project to be shared with us Can't wait to see what else you've been doing.

Yeah, cutting tubes would be ok. Just make sure it's the spares you've bought on BL that you cut. Never cut those from your collection of sets A great MOC General Magma - you're getting quite nifty at those small scale solutions needed to build something like the 74-Z speeder blogged

Nice Chibi fighter Stardusty. Best of luck in the contest with that one blogged

Yeah Morten's been pillaging his older sets to free more old grey. That's hard for the UCS ISD and several other sets. I think he's also scrapped two old AT-AT's in the process I've supplied the old grey parts I have, but he hasn't really used any of them yet. He's been buying old grey through Bricklink ever since they (TLG) switched to bluish grey parts. And no, I doubt he'll be building in blush grey anytime soon Don't ask me why - it's something about preferance The idea on raising the ground level towards the towers is one of our solutions for making the AT-AT's look better in size compared to the loading walkways. Now all I have to do is persuade my wife that it'll be ok for her that I leave her alone with our less than 48 hours old newborn daughter while I visit Morten to aid him. (not going to happen )

Thanks and yes, it's for LEGOWorld 2011 in CPH

Yeah we've been trying to work around that. Our plan is to use a few of the new AT-AT's and just place them far enough from the towers for it to be easily spotted. We don't have the time nor skill to design our own AT-AT's. We're diorama MOCers and suck a vehicles. High heels is noted as a solution - we'd have to add some pink to the AT-AT's then Plus we're making a soccer lane and a tennis lane for stormie recreation.

I've only just begun dismantling the Yavin IV MOC I did for LEGOWorld last year.

Not only is it huge, but Morten rejects building anything in light bluish gray

So since I'm having my 3rd child in a few days, I can't participate in this year's LEGOWorld in Copenhagen (DK). Thus Morten kindly "asked" me to help him out with his layout. I've been a "consultant" on minor design issues when it comes to the platform, but my main job has been designing the greenery and taking pictures as we went along. It's not done yet at all - so Morten hasn't got time to post anything about it. I do and I will First up we take a look at the surrounding green stuff. We pooled all our green greeble, plants and leaves and I started out doing a few "test-builds" for possible solutions and designs. Then we counted all those tree-leaves (?) and I started doing something junglish It's 2-3 layers of leaves and some greeble, which include mushrooms, piraka hair, bushes, ants, dinosaur tails, sea-weed and some palmtrees. It turned out pretty well in my opinion, but we quickly used up all of our tree-leaves. I had no idea around 300 of those would dissappear in the jungle on only 4 32x32 baseplates We had to devise a new plan for the surrounding forrest. So this is where we are right now: The plates with 1x1 round brick with bamboo leaves are probably not making the cut, but the other ones to the right, definately are. The flower stems are quite effective when put together in pairs. So I've rushed the LEGO store and bought me a large cup of those and that's quite a few The plan is to make a bunch of baseplates with some green plates for leveling and then add a zillion flower stems and bushes. Some of the jungle still lives as I've fallen for the idea . But a lot of it died when we reminded ourselves that we needed trees - there are trees on Endor and a diorama with no trees would look kinda silly. So out comes the hatchet and gone was a lot of the jungle to make these trees: Not sure how I am to find more time to help Morten - hopefully I can and will soon. As for the enormous MOC itself I can't say much. Morten has spend weeks on figuring out how to make the whole thing stable enough. It has to be movable, it has to have the new UCS Shuttle on top and the top platform has to be straight and steady as a rock. Not an easy task - there's a whole bundle of technic parts inside the towers and the platform is quite heavy to lift. Though it seems that it's going to work out just fine. And now a pictorial progress of the build - when I was there and did some photos. Coffee and candy is always good to have when MOCing First tower (later destroyed to be rebuild properly). Different designs for pathwalks tested. Second tower added. Some technic parts sticking out. Towers connected by pathwalk. Towers are moved to new table to allow setting up some of the surrounding forrest. The testtower is no more and these are for keeps. As you can see 3-4 baseplates of jungle is NOTHING. A few pics of the technic design that holds everything together when lifting it. Pathway shots - a test to see if it works as intended. The platform's rough start. "Yeah baby!" So this is where it's at. I hope to post more pics soon. Any thoughts and comments on this are more than welcome. Full flickr gallery

Nice work Masked Builder. I'd prefer the floor to be tiled - but that might just be me. It would add some finish to the MOC though blogged

Lots of sorting to do. Should give you the chance to easily find out how heavy that thing was. What's up next? A well deserved MOC holiday?

Nice Voltron. Those pics are sharp and the "story" they're telling is signalled strongly. Thanks for sharing.
