Wow, that's truly amazing what you've accomplished so far.

This should really go in the Vader's Red Helmet topic. I'll move it there shortly.

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
KimT replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
To my knowledge 30000 Chrome Vaders were made, same as or less than the White Boba Fett. I have no confirmed amount of White Boba Fetts made, but it's definately much more than the 150 being flashed at Toy Fair last year - I'va had around 40 or pass through my hands 10000 Chrome C3PO's were made and put into random sets in the US. The probably did more than 10000, but not many. -
Rules for entering the Index: No huge pictures. (EB's guideline is a maximum size of 800x600 pixels) No blurry pictures. Additionally, models presented solely as videos will not be indexed. On-site models only; no off-site models or 'finds' will be indexed. No WIPs. Guidelines for commenting on MOCs: Remember that giving feedback to other members on what they build is a great thing to do, but please do it in a respectful manner, and try to make your criticism constructive. Also, feel free to comment on all threads in this index - there is no such thing as a thread gone too old to comment in this part of the forum, however, do not 'bump' or 'necro' a old thread if you don't have something to add to the discussion. (no 'thats awsum!!' or similar comments, please) Stay on target! A Note on Index Organization: The Index is organized in a manner which the staff feels makes it easiest to find an MOC. This does not necessarily mean that there are any strict guidelines in place as far as where we place an MOC in the Index. Notable among these are: CW-themed vigs and dios which are within the realm of plausibility but do not have a canon appearance will sometimes get placed in the CW section instead of in Fanon. This is because there are many, many vigs and dios of clone missions, artistic interpretations of obscure battles, and the like. Likewise, OT-themed vigs and dios which are within the realm of plausibility but do not have a canon appearance will sometimes get placed in the EU section instead of Fanon. The MOCs placed in the UCS section are those which are either very large models of capital ships, vehicles which are obviously larger than minifig scale and do not include brick-built figures, or MOCs which are specified as UCS by the builder. There is a lot of disagreement concerning the official definition of 'UCS' and similar scales, and this is the clearest way to create a definite set of criteria for the purposes of organizing this Index. Please don't interpret this as the EB staff's stance on the issue of the definition of 'UCS'. Member MOCs. Pics in here are used for thumbs, but they do include full size and a link to the topic in which they've been posted.

It's lightsabres If it's old grey, then this has gotten "lost" somewhere between the factory and the chroming company. I've bought myself a few of those already. So my guess is that you've bought this from someone who've worked at the chroming company that did the chroming for TLG at some point. The sabres aren't detached from the plastic frame until after the chroming process has been completed. Let me guess - you've bought them on qxl? Right?

I just learned today that the Advent Calendar will be 249,- Danish Crownes, which usually means around 24.99 USD. Usually, not every time though... One thing's for sure, it'll be pricier than the regular advent calendars. That's license for you.

Mkay, I've previously reviewed some of BrickTW's parts and since then BrickTW has released new parts in their shop. I ordered some and a while after a neat polybag of custom parts arrived. Love the card This batch of BrickTW parts included plenty of neck-wear stuff and a skirt. As you can see from this quick overview of the included parts, they look pretty good and certainly adds variety to your evergrowing Asian / Chinese armies. The weapons is a little spare in this round - but we did get plenty of those in the last batch. I really like the arrows A closer view on those 6 new types of arrows. From left to right - Exsanguinate Arrow, Iron Case Arrow, Cross Arrow, Flame Arrow, Tore Tooth Arrow & Month Hook Arrow. Hair Pieces: With the order I also got some hair pieces. First up for a little photo session with our ever happy Mexican is: Qin General Hair: What general would want to be without this? Female Hair: As good designed as it may be, it's a little off compared to the design of regular LEGO hairs and I think it might "stick out" too much in a crowd. But since I've got no pics of this hair side by side with regular hairs, then I have nothing to back up that comment. It's still good and mold-wise it's damn near close to perfect. General Hair: Another general's hair. Though I have no idea why this should be solely for generals - but that goes for all the hair pieces. I think they'd all be usable for both civilian and military figs. Intellectual Hair: Apparently you have to be an intellectual to get a hair style like this? Civilian Hair: The civilian hair looks more like a hat to me. Some kind of medieval hat...? End of headgears and on to neck-wear and skirt. Female skirt: Now this is one great body wear part. A skirt - finally we get one that's plastic instead of cloth (sorry Hula-Girl, but yours suck). Female Clothing: A great torso part. Get this in a variety of colours and your female figs are much more female than before Only bother is that skin and clothes are same colour. And here's our Mexican once more. All dressed up for fun. I wonder what kind of party he's going to? Female Civilian Clothing: Same as the other civilian clothing part. Adds variety and more femaleness to your figs. Bamboo Raft Battlegear: Now this is awesome. A kick-megablocks battledress made from bamboo. I see plenty of uses for this one and not solely confined to Asian MOCs. It'll fit almost any kind of army in any Fantasy setting. Terra Cotta Warrior: Terra Cotra Armor may be the name, but I instantly think of scale-mails and padded leather armors. Great piece, plenty of uses. Three Kingdoms Soldier: Looks a lot like the bamboo raft armor. Again great design and very useful. Zhu Bajie a.k.a Fat Man: I have no idea what Zhu Bajie means, but to me this is a fat man's look. Sumo wrestler anyone? End of Part 1 Claw: What's not to like about this amazing ninja-like weapon? I'd love this in black on a bunch of ninjas Spear: The plastic and design has a nice "feel" to it. The attachable spear point is an awesome addition. It can be attached to plenty of stuff like bars and such. I see many possibilities in use for that one. Shield: So many poses available due to that great handle attachment by BrickTW. Arrows: So many great ones. Now all I need is a zillion to go with my elven bows from Brickarms or whereever I got them a long time ago

Sorry my bad I thought it was mostly the US that had a thing for the 25th of December.
-
I beg your pardon? The LEGO Advent calendars have always been 24 days of opening. Most of the world celebrates Christmas on the 24th of December. I always feel sorry for you Americans having to wait a full night before opening your presents.
