Nice MOC as usual Rook. I've added it to the index. A great design with some fine greeble and details. Not sure wether I like the lime parts or not...they look kinda odd, but still I can't imagine it without them. A confusing comment, I know. Perhaps I should come back when I've made up my mind on them.

5373 Instructions 5372 Instructions There you go.

Oh boy have I heard that a lot of times. No offense, but a lot of people claim to either work for or knowing a superimportant LEGO employee and thus they know every secret within the TLG. Sorry but as stated on FBTB in that particular thread, such comments and claims just don't cut it. The list may or may not be true, but it certainly hasn't been confirmed by TLG. Give me box pics which aren't preliminary or a press release from TLG with the set names and numbers and then I'll move them from the "unconfirmed" list.
-
Nice work. I think I'll move this to the "Minifig Customization Workshop". You'll get much more feedback there on your designs Thanks for sharing.
-
Confirmed by TLG? That's what confirmed means - that TLG has confirmed the sets.

They wont. They never went into production and they never will. It happens, just think of the Star Wars mini sets that's never been released, but has their instructions on LEGO's instructions page and several others on the internet. Accept and move forward in this discussion please (Do what I've done. Download the instructions and build them yourself)

It's a little too technic and It's too junorized are comments that get on my nerves. LEGO has been using technic for hull construction since..well...forever. For example this beauty, loved by all Star Wars fans is made with a load of technic, but no one complains. It's always been like that and I guess it'll always be like that. Some people just have to bug. Don't even get me started on the new light and dark grey discussion - which some people love to redo over and over and over and over again. So in my opinion, it's nothing new. We all have a glorified vision of how things used to be, but to be honest: they mostly still are - we're just remembering them wrong. How many got a set the size of the Twilight or AT-AT when they were children of the 70's or 80's? Not that many, and that's why we keep forgetting that the use of technic has always been part of large scale constructions. Get over it or die trying

You're NOT an admin or moderator, so please refrain from acting like that. And NO we didn't know - we guessed. He told us where it came from. So here's an idiom for you: "Can it! or be canned" this is: End of discussion Have You checked the first post of this topic? There's plenty of info there...

Ahh.. I knew I miscounted something And yeah, now we have to wait soo loooong before getting another GP

Of course they do. That's why you've got the fattest country in the world, isn't it? Yeah I've seen that "Supersize Me!" movie and a documentary on the obesity situation in Texas Good luck.... BTW I'm pretty sure some Italian guy would get a little if he found out that you put whipped cream on a Latte

Except that not all the sets on display have the boxes in the link provided by Klaus-Dieter. I am fairly sure that this must be a MOC, it's just too well designed = waaaay too many bricks. Imagine the brick count on this one and then imagine the price. I'm still hoping for it to be true though.
-
Nice find Klaus-Dieter. It's just too good looking to be true, isn't it? Just look at the sleek design and all those tiles. I hope this is the one, I really do
-
Agreed, that's one awesome fighter with a good design. I just that wing fold-out mechanism and I actually think it looks cool when its a little askew

Indexed. Thanks for reviewing this good old Star Wars classic for us

Indexed as Review 3 and added poll. Thanks again for the review

Thanks for the pic. I've added it to the 2008/2009 Rumour and picture thread

Why customize it? I certainly see a black statue standing with it's back to the wall here. Neat idea

Nice army you've got there.

NO - NEVER! ... .. . ... Well, except maybe for that double sided plate. That one could come in very handy at some point. Now where the Megablocklink.com sales page when you need it?
-
Yeah I'll admit to that and I guess you're right: "Winning is winning" - But I'd still say Alonso won Valencia Yep that was a little over the edge. I think we can all agree that some of the best drivers right now are: Kubica, Hamilton & Massa. (Listed in no particular order). They've got the cars and the skills, now let's hope the suspense from this year's season will be there again next year. Hopefully with the good ol' dark horse Renault meddling again BTW: Didn't Alonso finish as number 4 in the driver standings?

No further questions

Nice find I've added the queen to the first post.

Now where's that second? Or did I miss something? Thanks for the review, I'll be sure to add this to the index within a few days.
