  1. Thanks for reviewing this def. A great JSF in my opinion, but I have and will never like those droid fighters (and yes, that includes the new Hyena Droid Bomber). Poll added and review indexed.
  2. I think everyone here agrees that the fig count and selection is a little off. Sadly I am sure that they are the figs we're getting - no more - no other
  3. I've merged Motti's and Ditto's topics, since they were similar. And here's my thoughts: I know that they boost the size of the boxes to ensure sales, but it's odd that we (in 2009) still fall for such tricks of the trade. I had hoped that the "regular Joe" would step up and demand that companies acted more enviromentally correct. The BP's for example are twice the size needed - saving the paper and print on those would do a lot for the enviroment, not to mention the space needed to ship these sets globally would also be cut in half. It would be awesome if TLG had the balls, to say: "In order to ensure a better enviroment, we've cut box size in half. Buy LEGO - save Mother Nature, buy Megablocks and strangle her instead" Yeah me too. There's plenty of enviromental talk around here. Windmills and solar energy is what the general public and a lot of politicians want. So it is odd, that TLG doesn't take the above mentioned step.
  4. You goddam right. And noticing it yourself, keeps you out of the chamber this time. I'll move this to the proper topic, since you're aware of the mistake.
  5. Yup, but back in the start of the SW theme we were given a zillion Jar Jars, R2D2's and Lukes. So it's nothing new that they're spraying us with the famous characters. OT has reached a point where the sheer amount of sets available and the time of being produced ensures that every fan (regardless of fan level / insanity) has been able to get the theme characters. Now the OT seems to be more about getting the people what the peolple want. = sets which include important parts of the story. (Endor, Hoth, DS and so forth). Let's hope this continues when the anniversary year is over - though I see no reason for TLG to reintroduce Luke. New fans don't care about a character invented more than 30 years ago and I fully understand that. I grew up watching Star Wars (I was born in 1976) and therefore the OT means something special to me. But if I was 19-20 years today, then I guess I'd be all CW instead. It's all a question of timing. - And since they're not rereleasing the OT in a new new new version, I guess we'll soon see the end of that as a subtheme, except for a few special sets each year intended on AFOLs, hardcore fans and for those who'd want to add a little something to their CW collection.
  6. I think the issue with the Y-wing containing yet another Anakin, Ahsoka & R2D2 is just something we have to live with. When parents buy LEGO for their children, they look for the known and famous characters from the animated TV series. (The ones their offspring keep talking about) and that would be those 3. This is why we'll be getting waaay too many Anakins (in an AFOL sense). But for LEGO it, the continous adding of those, means more sales. Which parent would buy a Y-Wing for the children if it didn't have the core characters? - Noone. So we (the fans and collectors) just have to live with it. Personally I shove any extra I get into my BL store.
  7. I surely hope someone could do that. Also I've added this to the Q's & A's Index.
  8. Added to the Q's & A's Index. Thanks for sharing, hopefully I'll have the time to try this out one day.
  9. Darthpineapple's request on Geonosian Wings added: Geonosian Wing Scan click >here< And this has also been added: Hopeso009's Battle Century Board Game click >here<
  10. Thanks Bricks. I'll keep this one in mind when I get around to doing the Misprint Index.
  11. Wow - that's the 100th time within the past 10 pages what we've been given a link to those sets. What would happen if people read the topic? The topic would be much much shorter and without reposting of already posted info.
  12. First of all this is a global site and all are welcome. And as long as people try their best and we can understand what they mean, then there's no need to push their English skills. If such is needed, then rest assured that the staff will take actions. Do you mean that you've got a misprint? If so, then feel free to post it here and perhaps I'll make a mutant index for all those misprints out there.
  13. From the album: Star Wars Related

Lion linked to a German site where member "Grevious" has scanned the wings. Print on overhead and cut with a sharp knife.
  14. Wow. Thanks for linking to that. I've taken the liberty of copying the scan. So here it is:
  15. I am puzzled as to why you guys like the Tank Droid. In my opinion it's the worst of the upcoming sets. It's small and the deisgn leaves me nothing but a sour stomach I love the "old" version and this one could have been great. It's just so small... I am really happy about the other sets though.
  16. You want to print a trans-clear plastic wing? Good luck This'll do just fine in the Star Wars forum. Now if anyone does the scan, I'll add this to the Instructions Q's & A's topic.
  17. I am not sure that turning this topic into a rant on "Where TLG went wrong" is such a great idea. The problem has been solved the way I see it and perhaps this topic is better off closed. This is a global site and I am sure that several members have had bad experiences - but equally many and even more are sure to have had no trouble at all dealing with TLG. Often topics like this are only voiced by the bad experiences, leading to the common misunderstanding that TLG only offers bad experiences when attending or helping at cons and events.
  18. Any three sets will do. As for the cord, perhaps you could just use the memory card? I do, and it's much easier than fumbling with the cord. If your computer has a memory card slot, otherwise you'd have to find/buy the cord. The reviews can contain S@H pics, but must be made primarily by using your own pictures.
  19. Please stay on topic. All you have to do is simply follow the links posted here. How hard can that be?
  20. Hey! Are you looking for a fight? Dino Island rocks... And you said you liked them all
  21. I can't wait for the season to start. It's going to be interesting to see how and what KERS will mean, when the race is on. I can't even imagine the duels we'll be seeing.
  22. I admit that most of these are awesome. But still I like the Dino Island subtheme the most. The idea of having JT hunting dinosaurs was awesome and the animals we're some of the best LEGO ever did. The T-Rex rocks and the crappy Dino2010 theme's dinosaurs were awful.
  23. It's not. It's a battle pack and they got close to nothing to do with the episodes, except for the minifigs. The added vehicle isn't canon.
  24. The box designs look final, and most often when prelims are leaked it is as follows: finished box design = finished set prelim boxdesign = unfinished set. These two are definately finished. Now if you had the large size pics, then you'd be able to see that all figs are as they should be (no replacement torsos or anything like that). Final...F-I-N-A-L
  25. Goddammit. Another cliffhanger. That Penguin fella sure looks evil to me. For the first time, I'm vouching for the clones...
