A really nice vignette you've done there. The burning stormie is a nice touch and you can almost feel the tension between the houses, which is a neatly enhanced by that very good background story of yours I think you should loose the 'windows' (the trans-bluse thingies) since they'd probably be blown to smotherines anyways.
