I feel the halberds really fill a Gap in the market. Very good. Also they are very close to how an official Product might look like (except the small details).

I would appreciate if some lighter metal colours were made, like regular silver. Dark metal is automatically connected to evil factions.

Anyway, These are really cool. BW is really productive.

PS: Make stuff for horses!

These are pretty cool. What is the quality of the plastic on these after market products?

BrickWarriors makes top-notch stuff. The quality is excellent, and the amount of detail on everything they make is very impressive.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing these with us. I have a bunch of BrickWarriors stuff, and it is all fantastic. With no new Castle sets on the horizon, it is nice to see these accessories. :]

Yesterday, I received the City Watch parts I ordered. They're even cooler in real life than they appear online. I was afraid the halberds might be disproportionately large but they're fine.

I definitely agree that some lighter colours should be available, to go with the "good" factions ;)

That halberd \o/

I agree that the halberd is the best part of that. On the BrickWarriors website you can see the other colors available. Looking good. The only thing I don't agree with is the face-guards on the helmets. For a good (usefulness-wise, not necessarily alignment-wise) City Watch, the guardsmen need to be able to interact readily with the citizens they protect - I feel like a more open helmet helps with that a lot. Without the faceguard, though, these helmets are basically just the LEGO conquistador helmets, so I don't really know what I would have done instead.

I just received my package today, very good service indeed! The halberd is truly brilliant: Perfect for Uruk Hai. The body armour is ok, though unfortunately only few hair pieces fit on top of it, well at least not the ones I was hoping to use on my Lurtz. The tassets for the legs is the least attractive: it broke after applying only twice...

Depends what you mean by "faceguard"? The LEGO version has no cheek-plates which are important historically and what makes this awesome.

What I don't like the look of (and will happily remove when I get some) is the nasal which covers the nose and the eyebrow area.

That is disappointing. Was the connection too tight? How did they break? Do you have pictures?

I would imagine he bent the legs to far forward and the pressure snapped them? I don't see how else they could break really...

The connection was too tight.

You know looking at the pic this looks like a design flaw, the legs always tend to want to bend so having a ridgid front only won't work it needed some sides to make the legs be boxed in so they don't move.

Kristof you might try getting a piece of thin clear flexible plastic and superglue it to the connection and the tassels, that way it can flap up and down and it woud give a bit more play. They should look into giving it some reinforcement and re-issuing, its a really nice looking part.

The front was actually far sturdier than it looks, so that wasn't really the problem. It was the connection clips on the sides that were too small and tight. The rest of the delivery was very good by the way.

Thrash - I've actually been meaning to get in touch with you guys about some of the items I received, but didn't get around to it as it's pretty hard to find contact details on the website. Don't want to publicly announce what I have to say here, can I PM you or can you provide an email thanks.

I have just received an order and I must say I love the halberds, especially for evil armies. Also I got some spartan helmets to find out if they look good without the plume, and yes they do.

I need to order more. On the horizon, I see an army of dark elves coming.

can you post a photo from your BW spartan helmet from the close?

What the pictures don't show is: The top rim of the helmet is filled solid. Before I thought it would have a long slot for the plume to fit in. But there is just a tiny hole for the plume. So if you use no plume at all, it looks very well.
