Hello All,

Here is my entry into the Middle Earth Lego OIympics over on Mocpages.

"A shadow lurks in the dark. We cannot get out...they are coming."

I am facing the very talented opponent Josh Walter, and his amazing entry.

Man, I have to stop with these last minute entries, they are robbing me of all my sleep. :P So this was built in around 3 hours, I did not get as much detail as I wanted, but I am alright with it.

So this is a creation from both my imagination and from the movie. The lines in the floor, and some of the minifigs were all from my imagination, but the rest I tried to stay true to the movie.

I like it, you've captured the chaotic/battle-strewn floor look really well.

Looks fantastic with the last picture, the floor and columns are a sight to see.

They have taken the bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes, drums... drums in the deep. We cannot get out. A shadow lurks in the dark. We can not get out... they are coming.

Great MOC! I love the floor and wooden doorway! I think the walls would look better if the textures were less repetitive, but might just be me. Nice work!

Thanks Infernum! Yeah, well the walls seemed to be textured in the movie, but I guess I did go a little overboard with the profile bricks. :P
