That’s Pork. He’s a Jedi. I remember the first time I met him. It was on board the Redemption during the Battle of Hoth. We had lost a lot of good men and women in that fight...if you could call it a fight...we had very little notice. He was in the docking bay as Rind's and I arrived. He offered us words of encouragement, but we weren't trying to hear it. We just wanted to refuel and get back into the fight. That's when he said he would be honored to fight along side us. We excepted and he's been with us ever since.

Oh, he also said something about the "Force" being strong with me. "I don't know much about that, but who am I to question a Jedi?"

New wing / color design based on Brickdoctor's Feedback.

It was worth waiting for, The colour scheme is wonderful and those engines  I still prefer Rind's one but this has a better shape and the design is very complex. Great work!

I love your ships but thought I should point out a story flaw. There were no other Jedi present at Hoth besides Luke Skywalker. All other Jedi at that time were either dead, in hiding, or didn't know they had force potential yet until Luke brought them together. That's part of current EU cannon.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm glad you like it!

Yes, I screwed that up big time! What threw me off was the emblem I used on the wings and engines of the ship. Perhaps you could clear something up for me? Is that emblem associated with Jedi or can I change him to a pilot and still use that emblem?

From what I know it was used by the Republic before the rising of the emprie and they were in a close relation with the Jedi but I think this emblem has nothing to do with Jedi. All Republic ships used this so i think it's okay and it would be interesting if a Z95 from the Clone Wars could be saved and used later on in the Galactic Civil War.

I love seeing all these improvements and variations, Dapper-D2! I like the nose on this one, with the sleeker design and the harder-edged nose and the stickers that all flow very nicely together. Constructive criticism, I think the wings are a bit busy. You've got curves and angles and tiles and studs and grilles and turntable bases and stickers and chrome and white and gold and grey and dark green — it's a little on the chaotic side. I suggest removing the turntable bases and the pearl gold, and then decide whether to tile it all over or leave more of it studded. Keep up the good work with the new and improved renditions! :classic:

Oh yes, it's not a Jedi symbol at all, just a republic symbol. The Jedi, as far as I know, have no specific symbol like that of the Empire and the Republic.

I prefer this version to both your previous ones. It's color scheme is the best so far, apart from some excessive gold on the wings like Brickdoctor mentioned. I really love the bigger engines, which makes the vessel feel more poverfull!

Thanks for the info guys! I will try to change the storyline later.

Thanks Doc! I agree, I threw in the turn table bases at the last minute and for some reason I thought I had more gold on the ship than I did. So I’ve changed the wing design and color combo based on your feedback and posted a new image in the thread. What do you think of it?

Huge improvement, excellent work! I love the color blocking with the dark green leading through the engines, tapering down the wing, and ending in the guns, and the way the angle in the dark green matches the angle in the trailing edge of the wing emulates the white tapering stripe on green on the nose and helps tie the color scheme of the whole ship together.

Thanks I’m glad you approve! It took me a while to figure out the new configuration because I don’t have much dark green to work with, but I do think it looks much better myself. Sometimes I just need that push in the right direction.
