In my constant desire to build figures with more accuracy and detail, I decided to work in a slightly-bigger-than Moodland scale. The result is my Midi-Mood Scale Boba Fett!

I used Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Boba (ROTJ) as my main visual reference. I even printed decals!

I originally planned on making his cape and braids out of Lego, but none of the designs I tried worked.

As you can see he a bit bigger than my Moodland figures. Special thanks to my mom for making Boba's "Wookiee braids". LOL! Let me know what you all think! :sweet:

This is flipping sweet! My favorite part might be Boba's blaster - it is IMHO spot on. I have always been a fan of your creations, and this is no exception. By the way, is that a purist custom Boba in the last pic? Looks like a mash of the Cloud City and the latest release.

Thanks! Glad you like it. The blaster was actually pretty hard to make because of its odd shape. And, yes, that's a purist custom Fett fig (half Cloud City version/half new). Good eye!

Great go on this, you hit it spot-on!!

For the flying pose of Boba, those grey round bricks look a bit... odd. I would have Photoshopped those away ;-)

or maybe use transparant bricks for those grey round bricks.

Anyway, stunning Boba!

I am normally not such a great fan of this scale, but I have to echo Smack: flipping sweet!

Me too!

Anyways, this is one of those vignettes that you'd love to have on your desk!

Thanks, everybody! Glad you like him. I SO wanted to use trans clear bricks, but I didn't have enough for the column and don't have any money to order more pieces. :sceptic:

Actually, If I still had Photoshop, I would've attemted to remove it. :sceptic:

This is AWESOME! I like the gun, backpack, and the head, but what I really LOVE are those Wookiee braids and the cape! Props to your mom, they really make this piece special. IMO mixed media should be used more often based on what I’m seeing here.

Thanks, dude! My mom is pretty excited that so many people like her contribution.

Incredible. Have you thought about doing Jango as well?

Thanks! I do plan to build Jango at some point. The problem is, his outfit has alot of purple in it, something I don't have much of. I'll have to Bricklink purple parts before I can build him properly.

That's really awesome! Can't wait to see who's next! :sweet:

Thanks, man! I plan on building some figs for the Community Build next.

All the details are great, all the custom decals and braid and cape are great, the adaption of a figure to a new scale is great as always, but what I really like about this model is the color scheme. Sand green, dark green, brown, tan, light bley, dark bley, silver, black, white, dark red, bright blue, bright yellow - I think you've really made the details and the overall used universe look really pop with all the different colors (and accurate ones, too, as far as I can tell) in this figure.
