Calabar Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 Maybe many of you already know about these videos, maybe not. I follow Tubafrog's channel from before I started to attend EuroBricks, and I find his works are really awesome! Using Powray he animated the assembly of some of the best official sets made by LEGO. My favourite videos are and . If you are only a bit curious take a look at his youtube channel or his blog. Quote
Calabar Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 No one interested in this? After about a week, not even a comment about these I consider fantastic works! Maybe someone knows any other that creates these kind of digital animated assemblies? Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I just watched the video for the 4956 Creator house.I have that set myself, but sadly it took a little while longer to build that it took in the animated version. Pov-Ray has a step clock feature which you can use to make animation's,although I have never attempted to use it before so I am unsure of it's limitations. Technic user Blakbird makes animated renders on his technicopedia site, both of which look like they use Pov-Ray's clock feature. Quote
DLuders Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 I like TubaFrog's work on the Lego Technic Expert Builder 8860 Auto Chassis ( ) (TubaFrog's Blogspot webpage):Video Quote
PsyKater Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 The video of 4956 is not available in Germany. Quote
Calabar Posted February 13, 2013 Author Posted February 13, 2013 Very strange: what is the displayed error description? Quote
PsyKater Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) The usual: Licencing problems with the music. There is a conflict between google and GEMA, the german collecting society and performance rights organization. Edited February 13, 2013 by PsyKater Quote
Calabar Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Probably that's one of the reasons why he is uploading his last works with and without music. Did you try to use a proxi? Quote
pbat Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 New work from Tubafrog: Nice . But it's a pity, that you can't easily make such videos with LDD out of the box . Quote
Calabar Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 For those that are interested in this, after a long wait is a new video from Tubafrog. Enjoy. Quote
The Undo Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Wow, these are some great animations. Very cool stuff. Does anyone know if there are some easily understandable tutorials on how to make such animations? Quote
