sonicstarlight Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 (edited) As a huge fan of diners, both in Lego and the real world, let me say that this is easily the best one I have ever seen! The details are stunning, especially the door and corner window, and you've captured the era perfectly. Blogged on Brick Town Talk. Edited July 30, 2011 by sonicstarlight Quote

Brickdoctor Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Beautiful work. You've nailed the classic diner look. Love all the curves, but my favorite part is by far the sign. Quote
Kendo Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 That's the moc I chose to post my 100th post ! I like the tent , the lower "brick" section and the sign the most. Quote

It could even inspire you to become an exhibitor in the future - you have some really nice iconic fast food establishments in a more compatible scale! Excellent Diner MOC 'oo7'. The detailed work and SNOT techniques are fantastic! Great job on this build Thanks. Beautiful work. You've nailed the classic diner look. Velika314 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 There are so many awesome and unusual techniques used in this MOC! It looks very realistic and I love the "BIG" in the sign. Quote
Derfel Cadarn Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Simply stunning! The slightly larger scale allows for more detail and you have taken full advantage of that! Most excellent!!! Quote
Khorne Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 I already saw this MOC when you first posted it in your flickr stream, but I still wanted to place a comment here. I think this MOC is just fabulous. The colours and details are great. On one hand, it's kind of sad that it's a big too big for minifigs, but on the other hand, the added scale allows for greater detailing, which sets this MOC apart from others. Maybe you could build a downscaled version of this fit for minifigs ? Quote
ryanfitton Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 (edited) Thats fantastic, one of the best things i've seen in a while. Congratulations on building such a great MOC :) I love the amount of detail in there, mmmmm wish it could be mine :) Edited August 21, 2011 by ryanfitton Quote
