Dr Kilroy Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Hey! I have one question for monorail fans: how to disassemble a monorail motor? I want to clean it a bit. ;) Is it possible without any damage? Thank you. Regards, Dr Quote
CP5670 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I doubt this can be done without damaging the motor in some way. If you have dust clogging the bogey wheels or the metal gear, that can be easily removed by hand without opening the motor. Quote

The gear tends to accumulate dust from the track. The stiffer the toothbrush bristles, the better for getting into tight spaces and removing fluff. Also dust your track before you run the train, to help stop this problem occurring frequently. Mark Quote
