iamded Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 (edited) Some survivors in this new world have scrounged up parts and put together a machine that send heavy, spherical lumps of metal zooming in the direction the 'barrel' faces. Here's a look of the cannon inside the shelter: And of the gore outside the shelter: Without the figs: And with just the figs: Thanks for looking, comments and criticisms welcome and appreciated, hope you like it! (And sorry for the blur in the middle pic. ;-)) Oh, and the folder, if you want to see these exact pics in their folder. X-D Peace ~iamded Edited May 3, 2008 by imperialshadows Quote
Dragonator Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Wow, great work! *sweet* *y* I really like this, you have built a really impressive cannon, nice use of the spring! X-D The greebles on it make it look mechanical and realistic. And the gore is wonderful... >:-) *skull* Nice use of foliage too, very good. Um, where is the crate of weapons? :-P A very nice MOC, with an awesome detailed cannon! *sweet* Quote
iamded Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks dragonator! Oh, the crate of weapons... well, it has a chain, which is jsut as good, another of those post-Apoc essentials. X-D And a barrel... ;-) ~Peace Quote
LuxorV Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Another great vig! Very clever use of the spring *wub* , and neat post-apoc look *y* . LuxorV Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 That's a fierce looking cannon! nice vig. Quote
Batbrick Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Whoa.. Thats just too cool. Only you my friend would have taken post-apoc to the next level with a zombie exploding wall cannon! :-D Simply ingenious idea executed flawlessly, wonderful use of that spring and black chains ( *wub* ). Great foliage detail too, even in your vigs you give a great atmosphere of a society torn back to it's roots (yes, a pun X-D ). Great gore too, gotta love trans red, and the variety of pieces you've used makes it seem more gory and real. I love you figs too, especially that crazy face, what set did he come in? I love your torso choices too. Back to the cannon, I love the dish at the back too, and the small gap between it and the rounded plate, really looks like a cannon, but still a crazy improvised one too. The use of a barrel as the barrel ( :-D ) is funny and awesome, It looks great! And of course I love oyur wall, those inverted slopes are a treat, well done on having them, and I love that the baseplate isn't completely flat too. If I was going to pick any faults in it, it would be that I can't find any faults :-P Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
LegoLyons Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Very nice vig. If nice is the right word. :'-( Love the cannon and the gore, Hmmmm I will have to have a go. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 1, 2008 Governor Posted April 1, 2008 What an evil looking vignette this is! But to clarify things - are those parts in front of the cannon suppose to be metal or the remains of an unfortunate mini-figure, the "gore" if you will? Quote
iamded Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Thanks for the great compliments, guys! :'-) Great gore too, gotta love trans red, and the variety of pieces you've used makes it seem more gory and real. I love you figs too, especially that crazy face, what set did he come in? That face came in one of those strange Racers sets where the minifig doesn't have a body. I'll see if I can find it later. *sweet* But to clarify things - are those parts in front of the cannon suppose to be metal or the remains of an unfortunate mini-figure, the "gore" if you will? Those are parts of minifigs that have attacked the base. *skull* ~Peace Quote
zero1312 Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Nicely built with lots of details = WIN!!! *sweet* Quote

MagPiesRUs Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Nice job iamded, I love it. The cannon looks very nice and scrappy, and the wall in front of it is good too, I like the weathered look of it, as if it has been there for a long time *y* And the gore scraper - brilliant! X-D Quote
BlueBard Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Good job! I specially like the idea of someone "cleaning" the battlefield after... :-D Quote
iamded Posted April 3, 2008 Author Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks Bluebard! Someone needs to clear the meat at least enough to step over. X-D ~Peace Quote
