Mestari Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Here's what you look like when you try to be like Santiago, but are not really up to it ;) That was my first real test with those 1x1 round tiles from PaB walls. Good for placing behind some solid glass, not so much for anything else (don't try to sneeze nearby...). I hope you'll enjoy it :) Full gallery is here: http://bricksafe.com/pages/Mestari/the-young-man-and-the-sea Quote
Legotom Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 That's a very clever technique to make a little vignette. It looks great. Brick on! Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Excellent rough sea vig 'Mestari', Brick On ! Quote
Withacee Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Love what you've done here; looks very dynamic, as if you captured the moment. Mind you, in Hemingway's story, the fish was a lot bigger, but I suppose one has to start somewhere, as a young fisherman Quote
Schreeuwwitje Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Wow such an awesome vig... You really captured the moment there! Quote

greg3 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Nice little build... The 1 x 1 round plates might be a pain to use but they're very effective and create a real sense of movement. Thanks for sharing!! Quote
