I've been going through some old boxes looking for adventure-related sets, and came across a set I picked up a few years ago in Legoland California. I tried finding some additional information about this small set on the Lego sites, Ebay, and the WWW, but found nothing.

I thought I'd share this rather unique set over EB.

The set has no number, other than Item: 4270133 displayed on the back side and is dated 2004. I think I picked it up a year or two later.

The set contains Johnny Thunder, the blue Knights Kingdom Knight (I forget his name), a crocodile, brown treasure chest, a green baseplate, two grey pillar pieces with red flags, and a green tropical plant with three leaves (23 pieces in all); plus a Legoland card that appears to slide into the two pillars.

Is anyone familiar with this set or have seen one? I find it strange that I can't find one on the WWW.

It's a neat little set, and I remember seeing quite a few of them when I bought it a few years ago.

Hhmmnn... could it be one of the earlier picture frames/photo holders that were an exclusive sell on Legoland California?

It's certainly a unique set. It'd be interesting to know how much it cost, for 2 minifigs, a gator, a small baseplate and a few pieces.

I've seen those at every Legoland park I've been to in Europe. Its the first one I remember, then they extended the "frame sets".

If I remember correctly its around 10

What is strange is that I can't find the set on Ebay or the web.

I think its the case with a lot of the Legoland park "specials" like the several different pic frames and glued items (or at least I never seen them anywhere else)

*yoda*
