legolijntje Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 When you look at the customer of LEGO, you will see that book1 of set 8043 (motorized excavator) is gone. There are only book 2 and 3. (sorry for my bad English, if I'ts bad) Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 It's been taken off for almost a month now. I guess we'll be getting a new one soon with an update. Quote
dolittle Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 They have taking it out as it has "incorrect" parts listed and construction instructions. It will be back when they start shipping it again. Quote

Well, actually by now should have been back on the website...but nothing...the new instruction sheet has not even been published on technicbricks. I requested it to Conchas. Quote

d66n Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 (edited) All the manuals are back on line.... at http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/BuildingInstructions/default.aspx. When downloaded as a PDF, the new (replacement) pages are electronic Page 41 (printed Page 33) and electronic Page 45 (printed Page 36). The appearance of the 8043 Book 1 Instructions is a LITTLE BIT different than the Service Pack's replacement pages (see below), but they cover the same steps. bord4kop Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 (edited) Started rebuilding mine yesterday. The extra items, apart from the new LA 's, are used to add more support for one 16 tooth gear. A longer axle, as opposed to the original axle pin which slots (slides?) into an extra support on the lower beam (connected using two blue axle pins), thus giving it more support when turning.. I just went to the link but it says page not found. So I looked in the instructions page and found it under the following link.. http://cache.lego.co...ons/4638641.pdf Edited December 3, 2010 by Crtlego Quote
