frumpy Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I really like the tree technique. Great work. Quote
GallardoLU Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Wow this looks fantastic! did you model it after anything in particular in Skyrim? or just use Falkreath as the location? Quote
Mestari Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) I love how you did the tree. I want to do the same now :) Why didn't I have that idea before??? Edited April 10, 2015 by Mestari Quote
Jreacher Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Love the landscape, and the use of the minecraft sword. Quote
Eurolock Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 The tree technique is definitely a winner. Looks much more 'realistic' that just using the normal leaf pieces. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Great -your building techniques are at international level! Quote
Balbo Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Fantastic work . I love how you made the house and the tree! Quote
Wodanis Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 I really like this project. Very quaint little house with a wealth of details. Job well done! Quote
MassEditor Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 Oh, this is very pretty. Fantastic detailing on that house, the wood cross and the dark tan accents in the stonework are truly awesome touches. The greenery is top notch as well, especially that wonderfully designed tree with those little plant leaves. I've never seen that technique before, and it looks quite lovely! Great work all around, look forward to seeing more from you! Quote
Trance89 Posted April 11, 2015 Author Posted April 11, 2015 (edited) Thanks for the great comments everyone! The technique I used for the tree is the same as the flower patches in this MOC. Each leaf has 24 bright green flowers in it, which adds up to almost 300 in total for the whole tree. It's a bit expensive but it was deffinitely worth it. did you model it after anything in particular in Skyrim? or just use Falkreath as the location? I've only used the name of the location. Couldn't think of a better name myself. Edited April 12, 2015 by Trance89 Quote
Garmadon Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Excellent build Trance, fantastic job on the manor and landscaping, and the touch of rock-work is great! Superb work with the tree and chimney as well! Quote

LittleJohn Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Stunning work! I love how you made the tree rounded and the leaves are excellent Fantastic work with the texturing on the house as well! Quote
Regenerate builder Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 This is very well done. A beautiful MOC appealing in detail and color especially. Quote
Captain Dee Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Those are some of the most realistic Lego tree leaves I have ever seen. The trunk is very good, too, and the other vegetation is excellent. The cottage is beautiful, especially the chimney and roof. This is one if those projects that is so detailed it qualifies as art. Just lovely! Quote
LegoFanfromPR Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Great -your building techniques are at international level! Agreed!!!!! Quote
