  1. We have seen the arrival of the Brethren of the Golden Triangle on Alicentia. After their flight from Isle de Medio, they moved into a monastery in New Haven. The brotherhood was led by friar Louis Bertrand. After a period of relative calm, the brotherhood has resumed their day-to-day activities. For example, education is given to the youngest Corrish in primary school. In addition, with the construction of the chapel there is again room for worship. The Marderian brotherhood has become more and more integrated into the Corrington society. A famous celebration of the Marderien Brethren is the 'Semana Santa', or the 'Holy Week'. During this week, various festivities and parades take place, with which the community propagates their religion. --- This build has no link with the Ku Klux Klan, it's based on the Spanish Semana Santa. 2. Brethren of the Golden Triangle The Eslandolan and Garvian invasion of the Isle de Medio left thousands of Mardierian settlers homeless and facing starvation. Even so the Brethren of the Golden Triangle, a religious brotherhood. The brotherhood was headed by friar Louis Bertrand. We've seen them before take up residence in a monastery in New Haven. The Marderian brotherhood also resumed their daily activities. With the construction of the Marderian chapel, the beloved worship services could take place again. The Corrish were happy with this place for rest, meeting and reflection in New Haven. --- Large Art & Culturewill be licensed by @Bricksbypidy in New Haven. 3. Corrington is known as a bastion of knowledge and learning. The youngest residents of New Haven are also involved in education at an early age. This classroom can accommodate 24 students who are taught by Friar Louis Bertrand, head of the Brethren of the Golden Triangle. The friar teaches geography, biology, music and language, among other things. The students have just completed their dictation. 4. Corrington is known as a bastion of knowledge and learning. Science, mathematics and literature all flourish under Corlander patronage and Corlander schools and universities are world renowned. Thus it is only natural that this passion for education is transferred with Corlander settlers in Terra Nova. Also in Spudkirk. This beautiful, modern botanical research center was recently realized here by the renowned architect Baron Peter Nash. Spudkirk is a bit isolated from other major islands, thick verdant jungle covers the entire island interior, sitting on a plateau atop 100 m high cliffs making up the entire coast. The research center is located on the edge of a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. Although the sea looks peaceful, dangers always lurk in these shallows and the rocky coastline. --- Royal Education building sold to @Spud The Viking, and will be licensed to the settlement Spudkirk. You take care for the bank transfer and licensing? Completing GoC task 5.3 Higher Education with this build. Property type: Royal Education Dimensions: 100 x 100 studs Total parts: ~15,100 Credits: - Design Botanical Research Center: Freely based on LEGO set 41757 'Botanical Garden' (A really good LEGO Friends-set, in my opinion!) --- With this build I've achieved: - a total yield from licensing my builds of 1,000+ db’s each month/MRCA (88% for the Crown/settlement + 12% for Bricksbypidy); - a total of builds in 15 different settlements of Corrington (15 / 20); - a total of 9 Royal builds (29% of all my builds) - completing 24 tasks for the Glory of Corrington Challenge (divided into 9 challenges).
  5. They lived peacefully in seclusion in a monastery on Isle de Medio before the war broke out. The brotherhood made the crossing by ship in search of a safer shelter in New Haven. A number of old monks refused to leave the old monastery and stayed behind on Isle de Medio. Friar Louis Bertrand and his brehtren have not heard from them to this day. Would they still be alive? The crossing to Alicentia went smoothly. With a large group of Mardierian they arrived in the harbor of New Haven. Defeated, but motivated to start a new beginning here, a new monastery was built. Although it couldn't match the old monastery on the Isle of Medio, the Brethren of the Golden Triangle were content. Here they could quietly practice their religion in silence and with prayers. --- Residence building, donated to the settlement and will be licensed by @Ayrlego in New Haven. 6. Baron Nash remained in Port Woodhouse for a while after his last assignment. He enjoyed the tropical climate and the many Royal Navy ships that sailed here and there. He became acquainted in the local tavern with some sailors of the Oaken Shield. Peter discovered that the sailors missed their home front very much. He was touched by this and thought to himself what he could do about it. This is how the idea was born to expand Port Woodhouse, one of the major naval bases in Terra Nova, with a Post Office. This allowed fleet crews to keep in touch with their loved ones far across the sea. As a result, the morale of these sailors increased remarkably. Baron Nash was pleased again. --- Commerce building, donated to the crown/settlement and will be licensed by @Ayrlego in Port Woodhouse. Completing GoC task 4.3 Purser's Network with this build. 7. To raise the settlement level of Port Woodhouse, this (currently) Large Town needs a Royal Factory. Baron Nash (architect) is of course the right person to contribute to this! To also provide the naval support and logistics network for the Royal Navy in Terra Nova it has become a Guarded Cannon Foundry. This is where the guns for Corrington's fleet are made. At this moment a few more guns are being loaded on board of corvette "Sémilliante". A class 6 vessel with 24 guns (24 x 8lb longgun). The ship can accommodate 140 crew members. The ship was made in William Parker's shipyard. One of the greatest ship designers of Corrington! --- Collab build with @boeing_787_8_dreamliner. 8. After Sir Peter Nash OC, Baron of Swanly (architect), completed his sugarcane mill in Mooreton Bay, he stayed in Mooreton Bay for a while. He met the head of a Public Nautical School from a neighboring island who was eager to open a dependency in Mooreton Bay. "Our youth are the future and deserve the opportunity to be trained for service in the merchant marine." Peter was happy to participate in this and designed a beautiful school building for these smallest Corries in Alicentia. --- Will be licensed to the Crown/settlement by @Ayrlego in Mooreton Bay. Completing GoC task 5.2 Higher Education with this build. 9. To further expand Corrington’s grip as the greatest imperial power, a Trading Company enlisted the services of renowned architect, Peter Nash, to construct infrastructure to facilitate the rum trade based in Jameston. Mr. Nash quickly designs and completes an office building to serve as the headquarters for the rum trade, a warehouse to store rum before it is shipped, and an inn to house local workers. From the balcony of the newly constructed office building, Mr. Nash appears satisfied with the work completed ashore. Before the rum can be transported, vessels are needed to convey the cargo. Two vessels cruise into port. Coincidentally, HMS Carolina was in the vicinity, sailing to fight in the ongoing Lotii War. Feeling a sense of national duty to bolster Corrington’s commercial endeavors, HMS Carolina dispatches Lieutenant Palmer and Sailing Master Bowles to survey the vessels. Having been in the service for less than a year, Lieutenant Palmer relies on the experience of Mr. Bowles to properly survey the ships. Gazing at the shore, Palmer takes in the bustling activity on land. Large, ow-driven carts move the copious amounts of rum to the awaiting ships. An off-duty soldier indulges in the abundant rum just outside of the inn. Several curious citizens of Jameston marvel at the new ships in the quay. Mr. Palmer: “All is well Mr. Bowles, we must make haste to our ship before the war against the Lotii ends” Mr. Bowles: “Aye aye, sir” --- Collab build by @DeathCap and @Bricksbypidy! 14. It had been a while since Peter Nash (architect) completed his last design assignment, the Rum Distillery in Jamestown. After completion of this factory, he said goodbye to Padre Azucar and made a journey through Myzectlan. Here he met the local population, the Myzec. Inspiring people with an even more fascinating culture! Peter also felt the need to design buildings again. So he traveled further to Elizabethville. The breeding ground of the best horses in the world. Horses were bred here for horse racing, among other things. Peter became acquainted with the local population and was soon asked if he wanted to design a horse breeding farm. And so it happened... 15. Life in the Myzectlan valley was pleasant. But the habitat was small. It was necessary to explore the jungle to discover new areas. The Myzec warriors explore the dense rainforest. Here dangers are defied, such as this rickety rope bridge. A mystical temple gate is discovered on the opposite side. What a strange place... What would it be? Who built this? 18. Peter Nash (architect) had meanwhile become the house architect of sugar kingpin 'Padre Azúcar'. After designing his hacienda on Queenston and his agave farmhouse on Mesabi Landing, Peter received a new assignment from the 'Padre'. His eye had fallen on Jamestown. Here he wanted to further expand his sugar empire. 19. Some time ago, Peter Nash visited the Naval Intelligence Office in Port Woodhouse. Here he had a pleasant introduction to a number of fellow pioneers of the new world, for example @evancelt. When he wanted to leave Port Woodhouse he got the chance to sail with one of the Naval Intelligence Officers to Queenston. After a pleasant journey across the calm sea, Peter arrived in Queenston. He had already had two architectural assignments for the mayor @Justsomebrix of this city. But the mayor wanted to meet him again at the military docks. Here next to the supply depot (Peter's third building in Queenston) stood a white marble statue, gleaming in the sunlight. Peter looked at it, and thought... "that man looks familiar!" "But that's me!", stammered Peter. "Yes, that's you! "That's right. It's my honor to award you the title of Queenston Pioneer for your contribution to the growth of this settlement!" the mayor replied. --- Will be licensed as a Large Artisan in Queenston @Ayrlego, I would love to donate this build to the Crown to get 2x the licensing fee of the purchase of this build. 20. A while back, Peter Nash (architect) met the wealthy farmer 'Padre Azúcar' (Sugar Cane Plantation, Queenston). After the completion of the new plantation in Queenston, he had planned to further expand his sugar empire to Mesabi Landing. He saw opportunities here to grow agave. Agave is an important raw material for tequilla. 'Padre Azúcar' was very charmed by the work of Peter Nash and invited him again to design his Mexican style farmhouse. The farmhouse consisted of a two-storey building, with two roof terraces. Both can be reached via an outside staircase. The top roof terrace gave an insane view over the sprawling agava plantation. Here, sheltered by the pergola, stood an office desk belonging to 'Padre Azúcar'. This has to be one of the nicest workplaces there is. Workers in the plantation walked in their typical white clothing with red scarves. It was hard work. While enjoying the music of the Mariachi band, Peter took another good glass of tequilla. He shook hands with 'Padre Azúcar' and set out again for new adventures. --- Licensed as a Large Plantation in Mesabi Landing, by @Bricksbypidy. 25. Not much to say, playing around with Stud.io hull shapes and rigging techniques. Thought I'd make some progress on the Shipping Nabob title. I probably enjoyed building the beakhead the most. The thin slopes and inverted front are simple yet sophisticated (perfect for a Xebec!) I like how the rigging turned out, though it took way too long. I think I got the hang of it (mostly). Already working on the next one! Stern... nothing fancy, but I like how trim she is. Final shot, let me know what you think!
