Over the moon that we have an updated list with Barbossa on. I have to say I’m shocked at the fact we are getting Pintel and not Ragetti, I’d have been less surprised getting neither and just getting Barbossa but one without the other is odd. Any ideas as to why that would be? Hopefully we are guaranteed to be seeing Jack the Monkey now. This list is exactly what I predicted accept I thought it would include Ragetti as well. Also do you guys think it’ll be three decks or two decks we’ll see in this set? I’d love three but really think it’ll only be two. Also do we have any known blueprints of the captains cabin and how it looks because I’m sure it’s very different in The Curse of the Black Pearl to Dead Man’s Chest.

When is Hogsmade supposed to be releasing and what buildings can we expect?

So are we expecting to get jumpsuits along with normal suits then for the characters then?

I’m really wanting to get this but given this years Arkham Asylum, Black Pearl and Death Star I’m going to find it difficult to justify buying this as well.

Where is this information? From what I’m gathering there is no new villains then which to me is an absolute joke. I wasn’t asking for much, just Black Mask and more importantly which seems to have been requested a lot Ventriloquist and Scarface.

I think Lego are listening to fans more now based on Jango’s Ship and other themes like POTC so I could very easily see a Razor Crest UCS style Naboo Royal Starship with full interior.

Okay that makes sense! To be honest I don’t think it’ll pass through LEGO ideas anyway but I do think LEGO will do it off they’re own back and make Futurama like they’ve done with the Simpsons again and Star Trek and I’m sure other themes to. Who currently holds the licence for Futurama?

If the list included Barbossa I’d say it’s the full list as you could see them leaving Pintell and Ragetti out (even though they shouldn’t). But the fact that Barbossa isn’t included in this list makes me confident the list is incomplete. Especially considering he was the captain of the Black Pearl for most of the first movie which this set is based on and when I think about The Black Pearl he’s probably the second character behind Jack I think of associated with it.

I could see us getting a UCS Naboo Royal Starship with a full interior similar to how they did the Razor Crest interior coming in the near future.

Sorry when you say park it what do you mean? Like they let it go through until they obtain the IP? Also why is there an issue with the IP?

We have to get a Lego Futurama set soon, there’s now been 3/4 sets on Lego ideas that have made it to 10K supporters, surely Lego can see the draw is there and then some to make a set based on it.

My thoughts exactly. He is literally the captain in the first movie and considering we are getting the likes of Cotton and Marty I'd be shocked to not get Barbossa at the very least, realistically Jack the monkey needs to be included as well, especially given the fact we are getting cottons parrot. I think including him Ragetti and Pintel are a must as they are like antiheroes of the franchise so gives some playability of having the good guys against the bad guys kind of thing, plus we could get duel heads with the skeleton face on.

Is there any other sets this has happened with? As in the leaks have been kept this tight?

When is Arkham supposed to be releasing? It seems we haven’t really got any info on it at all unlike other D2C sets such as the Black Pearl.

Do we have any photos of all the sections of castle together, including the boathouse and flying lesson? I’ve got to say as well as much as I like the private drive it seems smaller upstairs. Also what’s your opinions of the next UCS/D2C set been a large scale Grimmauld Place?

What do people think the likelihood of a Moe’s Tavern is? I think given the use of bars in Lego now it’s quite a high possibility personally.

I mean we could potentially see Queen Ann’s Revenge as the third ship? Then we have a good guy ship a bad guy ship and then more of an antihero ship in traditional terms if that makes sense. Also guys do you think we’ll see Jack the Monkey included in The Black Pearl and are we 100% that there’s no other minifigures coming.

I'd seen a video on YouTube a couple of days ago suggesting that POTC is going to have another two sets released after this set and they are both going to be larger scale ships like The Black Pearl. Firstly is this true and secondly what do you think the other two ships will be? I think The Flying Dutchman is obvious but the third ship not so much.

Does anyone think we’ll get all three decks? The third deck I am referring to is the storage area where Jack met Bootstrap. Whilst we are on this topic do you think we’ll get hammocks as well?

Really exited for this set and I am happy with the piece count. I'm more than happy with the minifigure selection, for me getting Cotton and Marty were the two biggest wants and I was unsure if they would include them but they are part of the crew though the first trilogy and Marty is in fact part of the crew in the 5th movie as well, if any chapters were going to get left out I thought it would be those two. I know we aren't getting Barbossa but what do you guys think to us getting Jack the Monkey, he was the other want from the set for me? I suppose there is other sets he could come in as he's in a lot of parts in the movie but right now we are just getting the one set and possibly only one each year so this set is the only one that makes sense to include him in. We also need the lower deck of the black pearl and potentially a third deck as well.
