From Donau Zentrum in Vienna. The selection was quite good. This was my first time in a PAB I probably didn't do as well as I could have but it was still pretty fun =) List of bricks I got (no 471 round tiles isn't enough) And a picture of it all sorted, though I warn you it is really blurry:

Was really frustrating to build, in the end I settled for a design like this. The train I was building: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C5%BD_series_6111 (yes it is grey in real life, not sure why it appears white on the pictures there) Unfortunately I couldn't replicate all the details since I ran out of dark blue plates, but I think it is somewhat recognizable.

Wanted to make a nice, small and simple design for a greek temple.

They're pretty old but I wanted to finally take a picture of them before I took them apart for parts for my new train (a passanger train which is coming along nicely, if slowly). Link is to flickr for a larger picture. They were pulled by this locomotive which I uploaded a very long while ago: But that has already been destroyed for months. I haven't posted the locomotive here yet I think.

Thanks for the helpful tips guys! That was what wanted to do at first and what I ended up going with, but without the sideways curve and in 6 wide. I decided that it might be better like that than trying to mess with all sorts of things and ending up with huge gaps or very low structural integrity. However this locomotive could be an interesting challenge for anybody more experienced in train building. It was a 1.5 plate offset on the windscreen, though it looks weird because of the photo and trans slopes. I'll post a picture of what it looks like now later, might take me a few days since I'm very busy at the moment. It sorta strays from the source material because the curves are a tad beyond my skill, but I think when it's all finished it'll be recognizeable.

So, I'm trying to build this train: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/57/H%C5%BD_6111_serie.jpg However I've hit a problem at the very start. The front has a very specific curvature and I haven't found a way to really build it in a way that looks nice. The while thing I'm trying to make it 7 wide and so far I've managed to make the bottom half, but it's the windscreen that's making a problem. Here is what I have so far (not in the right colors of course): Help appretiated =)

Well, I'm not 100% sure that this problem goes here, but I've been trying to get LDD working for some time now. I double click the icon and nothing happens. A quick look at the task managers shows me that the process is running, at a constant memory usage of about 50mb, but no window appears. Any help'

That's just awesome, it captures the feel of the old Wolfpack sets very well yet still manages to have an amazing amount of detail.

Alright, so I've been wanting to try out castle for a while now and I finally took the time to do so. Unfortunately, by the time I did, all my grey headlights were used up, so there isn't as much detail on the walls as I would have liked. Still, it was fun to build and I think I learned quite a lot about building castles, most notably to check out if all the grass is still in place before taking pictures... Thanks, but I'm afraid making it less tall wouldn't have helped much. I have plenty of grey bricks, but no plates, headlights or anything else that could be used left. I'll buy a lot on my next bricklink order though so hopefully my next castle MOC will be more detailed.

I don't have much experience building trains. I only bought my first train set last year (the red passanger train) and that's where most of my train related part such as wheels and connectors come from. I recently bought extra train wheels and two connectors and decided to try and build something. I have a locomotive and two train cars built at the moment, tho one of them is still unphotographed. I hope to make two more (I need to get some extra connectors tho, the red train came with four and I bought two more) soon. Anyway, here are the pictures: Some things I'm unsure about, such as the tan stripe in the train car and the nose of the locomotive. Comments are welcome!

First of all, I am sorry for it taking too long to answer your posts, I was on a 2 week vacation and there was for whatever reason no internet signal there. Anyway, thank you! The rail car is supposed to be some kind of a box car, I saw one while browsing trough Wikipedia but am unable to find it again. The locomotive wasn't inspired by any real locomotive, however I spent hours looking at various locomotives and decided to take the elements of them and put them into one. So I guess it is sort of a Frankenstein model. And I will try this with the slope pieces on the roof, I didn't think of that, thank you!
