As far as I know, the TIE-Defender includes one classic stormie ... But please don't ask me, why TLG changes the designs that often - I dunno and I don't think there's a good reason behind it.

Great work, as always. I never thought someone would try to build this ship. Really nice detail and nearly perfect shape - the part behind the cockpot is too short IMO - but that's the only thing, that could be improved! Keep up the good work!

Those are Stormtrooper Commanders - as they were in Episode IV. The only difference is the missing backpack with tools against the heat etc. Well, the "epicness" is a complicated issue - for my part, this, as it's the great final mission of TFU, is a truly epic scene. Thanks for the comments!

Good idea actually. But it wouldn't fit with the storyline - actually Vader is watching the discussion between the emperor and the rebels in the throne room. So, if I wanted to add a Vader scene, I would have to add the whole throne room icluding a thousand custom figures (Rahm Kota, Bail Organa, Garm Bel Iblis and so on..). For me, as I'm a complete custom newbie, this would have been nearly impossible. But thanks for the inspiration and the C&C.

Heyho, this is my micro-scale entry for the "Epic scenes" contest (category - small) : The Rebel attack on the Death Star, the final moment of "A new hope". Who of you guys does not know this epic scene? Luke Skywalker tries to blow up the Death Star with a torpedo, but there are several enemies in his neck. Did I already mention, that he has to fly through a thin, heavily armed trench? First, why did I built this scene? Because this is my favourite scene of all 6 films. The first big battle in space! Luke Skywalker, a young farmer from a desert planet, decides to join the Rebellion against the powerful and evil Galactic Empire. I watched this battle scene again and again and IT'S JUST EPIC! The MOC: Building in micro scale is never easy because the proportions have to be right. A HUGE problem was the X-Wing. It just had to be sooo small but I hope you like it eather. The pictures: small overhang --> SNOT technique (1/2 stud) More, larger pics can be seen in my My brickshelf folder! Well, I hope you guys like it. Lion Ps.: I only made this, because KimT said, he would love to see a micro/mini scale space battle. No, just kidding.^^

This is a masterpiece. Only the solar panels of the TIEs look a bit strange... It looks brilliant but I'm not sure if we're allowed to build a "round" base. Because if you're pedantic, you could say it's no 32x32 entry... Good luck in the contest!

I have to admit, this is my opinion, too. This is a lego building competition - no editing competition. And it's a fact, that people, who have not that skill (or that software), might have a huge disadvantage. But that does not mean, I don't like your MOC. You captured the scene really well.

This is crazy I had exactly the same idea - including those blue car wash pieces ... Scary ... Anyway, nice work. I really like the vegetation. Just one question: why did you choose red blaster fire?

Thanks. Yes, I wanted to add as much greebles as I could, but, sometimes, I had to stop myself. Some parts look really nice, but they don't fit with the scale, you know? I had this problem while building those double laser canons. What part is sooo small, that it fits; in this case ---> a clone kama (you can see it on the last pic). I tried out about 5 possibilities but this was the only good looking one (at least for me).

Hey, nice first MOC. But I think it would be great, if you could post some more pictures. We can see neither the base nor the vignette itself. So we can't actually give you C&C ... Also it would be nice if you could deeplink the pics.

IMO, this is one of your best MOCs. Nice snot technique and best blaster fire I've actually seen so far. Hope to see more of those vignettes - maybe Tatooine!?
