  1. LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!

I don't know why people still think we're getting a V-19. It's pretty safe to say that the rumor was fake. The description of the real throne room set is very different from the "leaked" description, and if Sir Von Lego didn't see a V-19 at Toy Fair, it's safe to say we aren't getting it.

Do any of the descriptions of Snoke's Throne Room mention the inclusion of an escape pod? If not, I think we can safely assume that the Resistance Transport / V-19 Torrent rumors are fake, since that rumor mentioned the throne set including the Falcon's escape pod.

The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to believe that the D2C is a UCS-style Hulkbuster (I know I'm not the first to mention this). But looking back at the original Hulkbuster head leak (from a few months ago), it's clearly much larger than minifig scale. It doesn't have the two 'notches' at the front like the others do, so I think it's the same dome piece used on the front of Yondu's drill ship from 76080. Also, if the D2C really does release in March, it would make sense that the only unaccounted for figure is Iron Man, the same one that piloted the Hulkbuster in Avengers 2. Lastly, if you compare the leaked head to the AoU Hulkbuster and the IW Hulkbuster, this one is clearly based on the AoU design, not IW, meaning that if we are getting a UCS Hulkbuster, it might not be solely based on IW, which would explain why the mk 43 is included (since it hasn't been confirmed to even be in IW). So, unless the Hulkbuster head leak is fake, it seems like we might have a UCS Hulkbuster coming soon. At least, I think it's the theory that makes the most sense as of right now. Sorry for the super long post by the way!

Can you say whether or not anyone has correctly guessed it yet?
  5. The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

So, I've had the Scuttler for about 11 months now and I've recently been having problems with the joints on the front 2 legs being too weak to hold up the body. I haven't really played with it or anything (it's just been standing on my shelf), but I accidentally hit it and the front legs just collapsed. I've been able to get it to stand up by bending the front feet out, so that it sits on the pads of the feet, rather than the ends (as advertised on the box). Has anyone else had these problems? (Sorry for the lengthy post!)

The Resistance Transport Pod has been confirmed to be an unarmed ship, but Lego made it anyway and put a few spring loaded missiles and a stud shooter on it. That set seems to be selling fine to me. They'd probably just put a few stud shooters on the transport ship and call it a day.

Unfortunately, the Rebels sets haven't sold well enough, so I guess they decided it isn't worth it. Hence why we've only had one small Rebels set in the past year.
  8. Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

The Star Wars Solo sets were reported to have very similar code names like "Villian Vehicle" and they ended up being pretty accurate. If this is true, I'd say the 2 biggest candidates are the Statesman (the massive ship Thor, Loki, the Asgardians, etc are in at the end of Ragnarok) or a UCS style Quinjet. Realistically speaking, the Quinjet is probably the most likely option.
  9. Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

The descriptions of the sets that leaked a while back suggested that the pod from the Thor set could fit 3 figures and the Milano could fit 2 on the bike with room in the back for 2 more figures. I'm not sure if it's accurate though, since the descriptions were roughly translated, so take this with a grain of salt.

The Solo sets, Yoda's Hut, and the Jedi/Clone battle pack release in April, while the summer sets release in August.

That Snoke figure looks fairly believable, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake. Isn't it a bit early for summer minifig leaks? It says that the clone pilot is the same as the most recent Republic Gunship (which was a phase 1 pilot), so the Rex and Cody figures would probably also be phase 1.

That scene was so beautiful. I honestly teared up in the theater. Truly a work of art!

Whoa! This info is a surprise (but a welcome one). If this is true, then I'm very excited! All of these sound like great sets with great figures, so I'm crossing my fingers that these are real. And honestly, I think it is real. Rebelscum is a reliable source and the descriptions match up with the shapes of the gray boxes from the most recent catalog leak (the one with the sandcrawler and x-wing). I'm cautiously optimistic!

It also seems like hitting the circle/disc piece on the front of the wall (probably with the thresher) will cause some sort of explosion.

Here's something interesting: If you look through one of the windows on the second floor (above the pizzeria) from the Sanctum set, you can see the "tech egg" from the Spider-Man Homecoming Vulture set, or at least the same build (trans purple cone on a silver stud).
