  1. Just having seen the movie, apart from missing Nina, some curious dino placements, and the omission of the mutadons as well as the D-Rex, the sets are surprisingly accurate! Kinda baffling though how Nina is the only human character (besides the helicopter pilots) not to get a minifig She‘s not exactly a major character, but still!
  2. I think the issue is that the pneumatic piece that enabled that function in the 2008 version was exclusive to that set. I don‘t follow Technic set news at all, so there might be other pieces still in production that work just as well, but I understand them not wanting to resurrect that specific part
  3. Looking forward to the set, but I can‘t help but wonder why this of all sets gets a special reveal event Not that it doesn‘t deserve it, mind! But it‘s the third Transformers set (fifth if you count the BrickHeadz), so the novelty of the LEGO - Hasbro collab has slightly worn off by now…
  4. I really like both of the leaked minifigs! Kinda surreal to see a new Robin after what, 5 years? Also, the recoloured Soup hairpiece really fits Joker well! Neat idea to reuse it from the upcoming Zoro minifigs.
  5. Kinda sorta predicted that one Love the set, and especially the minifigs!
  6. It‘s a yellow box GWP, so new minifigs are off the table anyway
  7. My thoughts exactly. The original list was already missing two characters, so it‘s not a stretch to assume a third one was missing too Those 10 would just be perfect! Jack‘s compass as some have suggested would make for a great GWP set, so I hope it‘s that!
  8. Indeed. The characters are nothing to write home about (where‘s Waluigi?!), but the cart selection is great!
  9. Krennic‘s gonna be in the DS after all?! Hopefully, this means Galen Erso finally has a chance too! If so, of course they’re gonna paywall the first Mads Mikkelsen minifig behind the first $1000 set
  10. Except that was a regular GWP with custom boxart and everything, while the PotC one will be one of the cheaper yellow box GWPs. Those can also have exclusive prints, but I highly doubt they‘ll stick Ragetti in there Granted, I‘d rather have him in that set than not at all, but I can‘t imagine TLG giving us only one half of that duo. That‘d be like Hardy without Laurel or Thompson without Thomson!
  11. I really like what I‘m seeing! The AT-ST is a significant improvment over the 2006 precursor and the playsets all look fun
  12. The new Aayla is my favourite version so far and Solitus looks awesome! I expected him to be a pilot or mechanic to go with the hotrod theme of the set, but this is way better!
  13. While having quite a few of the villains in jumpsuits is far from ideal, I‘m just glad we‘re getting new versions of them! They can easily reuse the faceprints in upcoming waves for full costume versions. Is it foolish to hope for that? Maybe, but it was equally foolish to hope for an Arkham set, let also with that many minifigs, and yet here we are
  14. BTTF is allegedly making its return in the form of a Speed Champions set! Finally a more accurate minifig-scale model! No offense to the Ideas set ^^
  15. Turns out, it‘s a Speed Champions set! That‘s actually kinda genius!
