  1. Which figure will have an arm for Brooklyn? I looked at the picture but coulding figure out which figure it is. :S
  2. The dude calling out nitpicking is losing it over the name used on a kid's show.
  3. Same here! My six and two year old will watch Across the Spider-Verse/Into the Spider-Verse and call Miles Spin the entire time.
  4. I agree with you on both points. My position was that there's no evidence maxifigures have been discontinued. I never said they would be coming back soon.
  5. The designers work for more than one theme, my friend. And we've seen this type of construction as recently as June 2023. For example, the deisgner of the brickbuilt giant maxifigure from 75967: Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter also designed one of the best Lego Marvel sets ever - 76057: Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle. He also designs for the following themes: Monkie Kid, City, Ideas, Harry Potter, etc. Have a great evening my friend!
  6. I understand that this forum is for Marvel sets, but other themes can inform the future of the Marvel theme. They haven't used a green 2x2 brick in a Marvel set since 76020 Knowhere Escape Mission released June 2014. By your logic you will assume they will never use a green 2x2 brick in a Lego Marvel set again, despite the fact that it's been released in 16 sets across 8 themes in 2023.
  7. Yes, I'm serious. Lego Marvel is not a seperate company from the other Lego themes. For the purposes of discussing the future stae of brickbuilt maxifigures: Why wouldn't you count other uses outside of Marvel? Galactus and Surtur would both be amazing brickbuilt figures! I'd love to see a brickbuilt Ego, too. I feel the exact same way about the "bionicle" Ant-Man figure. Lego has been dying to get back into the action figure market (a la Bionicle) but these look so strange!
  8. Why wouldn't you count other uses outside of Marvel??? Lego Marvel is not a seperate company from the other Lego themes. Oh, also add the brickbuilt Ares from 76075 Wonder Woman Warrior Battle released in May 2017. Bigfigs aren't going away. Brickbuilt maxifigures aren't going away. They are both useful tools in Lego's tool kit.
  9. Why do you think the maxifigure has been abandoned? It debuted in 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle March 2016. It reappeared again 4 years later in 75967: Forbidden Forest: Umbridge's Encounter in July 2020. You also see it larger in sets like this: https://www.lego.com/cdn/cs/set/assets/blt742e8599eb5e8931/40649.png?format=webply&fit=bounds&quality=75&width=800&height=800&dpr=1
  10. The Domo is one of the coolest ships. I love that build.
  11. You really are a time traveller. The horrors of the future, realized today. We're really living in the darkest timeline. Lego drove me to pad printed customs by not making characters! Lego won't give us a Cosmo/Kingpin/Elektra/Hela/Odin/(literally you name it)?? "Fine. I'll do it myself."
  12. Thank you for explaining what the heck Morris is! That was driving me crazy! Asians aren't a monolith and have very different skin tones. For example, I'm Thai and we are quite dark. Chinese are quite fair compared to us. I don't see a problem with different skin tones for Asians because there are so many different variations in skin tone among Asian people.
  13. Disney has been teasing an X-Men: The Animated Series reboot/revival for some time now. This would defintely be fuel for new X-Men sets.
  14. I'm glad I waited for a cheaper set to get the sand piece for Sandman but I can't tell - is that the Spider-buggy?! If so- that's almost as iconic as the Thanos-copter. I love the smoke for Mysterio. I hope they give that poor guy some arm printing someday.
  15. Thanks for your opinion. I'm a customizer but I'm more of a trader! :)
  16. I have a huge custom collection - including multiple Lockjaws, Medusas, and Blackbolt. The problem with collecting customs is now the quality of the customs has SURPASSED the quality of genuine Lego. Official Lego Marvel minifigures have been lackluster to me for years (with notable exceptions like Infinity War). Official Marvel minifigures - rarely new molds, lacks leg and arm printing, reused face, everything is Venom, Iron Man, or Spider-man. Custom minifigures - professionally pad printed, indistiguishable from real Lego, leg printing, arm printing, side leg printing, custom molds (Lockjaw himself is a custom mold!), obscure characters *narrows eyes* Josh? You didn't happen to buy a Lockjaw from me, did you?
  17. As soon as I saw that hairpiece I had two thoughts: creating a purist Moon Girl and creating a purist Nightshade!
  18. IIRC - when a piece is molded for a license it belongs to that license. So, no, they would not be able to reuse the Chip/Dale mold (unless modified in some fashion).
  19. Antman's new super power is merchandising.
  20. While I'm excited about receiving a new Antman nanofigure...
