Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

So I am looking to get my next modular this weekend, and after lots of reading, I am still unsure. What would you all recommend? I have the pet shop, but am torn between the Grand Emporium and the Town Hall. Thanks, Spark :D

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Hi everyone! First post here outside of the welcome thread, so many apologies if this is the wrong place... I recently got my first modular, the Pet Store and am saving up for my next, after doing lots of research, I've found some get retired. My question is, which modular should I get next, before it gets retired? I have my eyes on the Grand Emporium as it seems to have been out the longest now. Many thanks, Mark :)

    Hi all!

I've slightly questioned that already, haha. But I love it too much. I get a weird sense of satisfaction to complete a set...then add my own minifigs to it :)

    Hi all!

Hi everyone, My name is Mark, 26 from Glasgow. After visiting our new Lego store here in Glasgow last month, I fell in love with the modular buildings and purchased the Pet Shop kit. Since then I bought a few small creator homes and a heck of a lot of mini figures. I was so excited to see sets like that and communities like this existed! It always felt a bit wrong to be an adult and be into Lego still, so for years I shied away from buying anything. Taking a younger family member to see the Lego Movie (then right to said store after it, to keep them happy) has reignited my love for Lego. Right now, I am looking to build a little city out of what I have and purchase more modulars soon. Next up would be the Grand Emporium before it potentially gets retired, or if I hear of another one before that. I was sad to see what has came and gone with those sets, then was made to feel worse at their prices on eBay! Other than that, I am a huge theatre and comedy lover, so much so, I run my own review websites for shows and performances. Looking forward to reading lots for on the forums and getting to know people here. Mark :)
