Atorsoy Posted March 7 So, I've build this cathedral as the centerpiece of my planned medieval city. It is a product of chance and compromise, inspired by Europe's great medieval cathedrals, with the aim of capturing the essence of gothic architecture. BrickMatit Posted March 7 This is, simply, majestic! The amount of details you recreated with different pieces is astonishing. Like when you enter an ancient cathedral, it is impossible to capture all the details with a single glance and one can only stay ecstatic, open-mouthed admiring so much beauty. Crosses, saints, spiers, buttresses, towers, torches, flying buttresses... everything is there. And that stained glass window in the transept it's a pleasure for the eyes. Lucky the inhabitants of your city

GeoBrick Posted March 7 A most 'faithful' creation. Delightful details like the organ and a scripture next to it. Kinda wonder if you found room for bells in the tower(s)?

Glad i managed to capture a hint of this effect 3 hours ago, LegoAUT said: Very impressive! One of my sources of inspiration proportion wise, was actually the neo gothic Votivkirche in Vienna :) 1 hour ago, GeoBrick said: A most 'faithful' creation. Actually I did managed to squeeze a small bell into each tower (Just below the middle of the bell tower window) Edited March 7 by Atorsoy
