I like to use my figure for lightsaber battles but after a while the hands get loose. Is there any way to increase the friction on the hands so it doesn't twist so quickly? Thanks

Since nobody else has jumped in with a better answer so far, one thing that may word is clear nail polish.  Pull the hand out, put as thin a coat of clear nail polish as you can (maybe even only on 1 side) on the shaft and let it dry, then put the hand back into the arm.  That little bit of extra material adds some friction, and this technique works pretty well on minifig heads/necks that have become loose so may be worth a shot here as well.

Just a note: if it doesn't work or if there's too thick a coat and you want to take the nail polish off, just scrape it off with your fingernail or something; obviously don't use nail polish remover that has acetone in it or something.
