Jacob Nion Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 If winning, I pick H15 as new warzone. _______________________________________ Osric's troops attack a mill powered watering system. I hope you like it. I'm a little bit annoyed because it didn't turn out as well as I thought. But now I've learned much about composing builds. I should've put the water wheel in the backround. Will think more about the arrangement of the elements I want to show. Quote
Blufiji Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 That is a great design for the aqueduct and the scene is well done. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Nice build, clever design for the mill! Quote
robuko Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Very nicely done, the colours and layers look good. The water coming out is quite low, I guess it will need to be pumped higher up. Quote
Bregir Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Nice build, and again you have an alternative angle to the challenge. Well done! I don't think the composition is bad. Quote
Elostirion Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Don't be too harsh on yourself, I think this build turned out really well. I especially like your idea of how the mechanism for the pumping system works. One idea about the water: I'd suggest to focus the white round bricks where there is foam in the water (so at the rocky shores and at the wheel), and make the rest of the river appear rather "soft" with blue only. LittleJohn Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Excellent build! I really like the patches of olive green, and the pit looks fantastic Quote
Yzalirk Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Very nice build, I really like the aqueduct you made. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Great scene - both battle and the water mill. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Lovely build! The landscape looks very good and I like the waterwheel aqueduct design. The little pit area is a great touch as well, approved Quote
Jacob Nion Posted March 15, 2015 Author Posted March 15, 2015 Thank you all for your pleasant comments! And I'd like to say thanks to my new daylight lamps that make these sharp pics possible :D. Definitely increased my output of builds. Quote
MassEditor Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Excellent entry! The overall photo looks great. Nice work on the SNOT aqueduct and that awesome pumping mechanism. The landscaping and banks are also well done. Also, I'm glad Osric is on our side! Quote
Gideon Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 (edited) Very good entry! Great landscaping and minifigs, especially the tails Edited March 15, 2015 by Gideon Quote
