Hi guys! Today I have a quick update to my Tie Emancipator. Mainly, I've changed the connection between the wing and the actual strut, using Fuppylodders design. It also encompasses everything from the last update. Lastly, I've made it perfect for building... LFX

Oh, and I'd like to add that I updated the original post with Vean's render. Thanks so much! :sweet:

I like this a lot, but I don't think connecting the 2/2 plate, with technic pin hole, to weight without any reinforcement is going to be very sturdy. Might I suggest the difficult task of sandwiching that piece between wing plates. :)

Well, making a sandwich would probably be very strong, and it probably wouldn't be too hard. It would warrant, however, the fourth version of the wing... Or is it five... Sigh.... I'm on vacation now but when I get home that is one of the things I'll work on. I made the mistake of leaving my laptop so now all of my creative juices are being stored until I can reach my PC....

I did think about that but in all honesty, I think 24 studs is perfectly fine to support the weight of the entire thing which wont be a lot. Clutch power on them plates is pretty strong.

I shall be ordering parts for it very soon so I'll be able to let you know =D
