I like the roof, the gold detailing, and the little potted plants; however, I agree that the door could use some contrast with the rest of the building.

Thank you! Constrast is a great suggestion. I've learned a lot from everyone's constructive criticism -- I got too concerned about the function of the door, and overlooked the importance of visual definition of the door.

Very nice, I like those red stripes you put in there to split up the tan. You could also add another strip in dark orange or medium dark flesh - I think those colours could work well.

Thank you! But no thank you for making my brick wish list even longer! Great color suggestions. :classic:

Wonderful outside design and the door looks fine. The inside is a cool design but a tiny bit cramped.

Thank you; I agree, it's a bit too cramped for long-term lodging. As a short-term shelter, though, it does the job.

So, it's been said enough already, but nice first build! I must also comment that the desert landscaping is definitely a plus here as you definitely took the time to give it life(not necessarily living things, but varied height to the sand), which is not typical especially for a first build!

Great little house, an especially good first build! Unlike everyone else, I don't mind the door at all. It's a bit different, but that's OK. Perhaps it blends in so well with the wall so that local burglars can't figure out how to get in. I wouldn't change anything.

Modest and lovely. Well done..!

Very nice first MOC for Ruadh!!! I love the colourscheme and the gold you incorporated in the house!!

Thank you all! It's so nice to be a part of such an encouraging community.

Other than the door which as already was discussed, this is a perfect little build! I like the windows and the interior. I try to make all my buildings have at least a somewhat detailed interior as well but I'm not too concerned about hinging the walls to be able to take great photos of them as I consider the interior as just a bonus. I think what you did with the removable roof is sufficient.

Thanks Mike!
