Old Castle Fan here.

I am an experienced old AFOL Castle. I think the essence of this beloved game is hiding between the parts of the old sets, and we've all grown up with them and have been an important part in our life. It may seem a bit radical, but the sets from 1995 does not catch my attention at all, either by the absurdity of construction or because they give more importance to the minifigures that assembly (which I find unacceptable in building a game) or the ridiculous new pieces designed specifically for something. For example, in September 6091 seems too ugly. I can understand that is designed for children to play with the figures inside the castle but the almost total absence of walls is unacceptable in a castle.

I've always liked the Castle line, I find endearing. Heads with LEGOLAND smile, poorly decorated torsos ... Now come silkscreened minifigures from top to bottom, which I do (not to mention prices licensed minifigures). With that, I will not insult or question the judgment of anyone, I bring only my subjective view. Returning to the above, I have never bought a set that is not of the Castle line. My collection, which I keep in boxes assigned to each type of piece, consists of sets of the 80s and early 90s.'s Army that seems more interesting is the Wolfpack, perhaps because the "vultures" Castle, as they are looting and stealing. Arguably are bandits, possibly nomads (as they only have a set of construction and is a small tower) 6075 and his lonely and secluded world attitude. 6038 looks set me to the top of Castle land vehicles, by design, color and minifigures. In his day buy 3 to form an army along with several minifigures 6075 also ended up buying.

Currently I am creating strengths with the characteristics of sets of each army. I am also determined to complete the collection of sets of Castle 80/90 faltándome several of the most sought will buy soon.
