LegendsOfNinjago Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Okay, I'm not sure if anyone has pointed this out, but I was looking at the promo material that was also leaked. I would like to point out a few things. A few things: -Zane or the Titianium Ninja appears to be chained up at the Anacondri Temple. -The other four ninja appear to have symbols on there head wrappings...I have yet to find origin. -They also all have green blades but designed in a different way. I think that was it... Quote
TheBrickPal Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 The new sets and display art look great! Snake cultists do sound a bit... creepy, in my opinion. But interesting! Quote

I think that was it... Oh wow, I never noticed Zane was chained up like that... I just thought he was raising his weapons All of the symbols are the ones we first saw on the Kimonos. We haven't gotten an explanation regarding them yet, and I'm not sure if they are Japanese or not. But given how much the sets differ from even its own promo art... it's pretty clear these are far from final. Let's hope that's the case with Titanium Dragon "promo material"??? Yeah, there was two lots of it in the leak. One was a weird cylinder thing and another was a store set-up display featuring the artwork as well. Quote

JasonEffex Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) I wonder why it is specifically Zane who is tied up? Perhaps the Anacondrai and their followers want him for something... ... His power source maybe? I like that whole scenario though: Zane gets captured and the other four ninja have to collect the new weapons in order to save him. This also raises another question, where is the white Zane in the set pictures? The yellow ninja could be a place holder but I doubt it as they could have just used a white minifigure instead if it was meant to be Zane. Another possibility is the unknown set 70751, when do we usually know about retail exclusives because I have a feeling that may be one. Speaking of missing minifigures in the sets, I'm fine with Wu not being featured this wave. Also, every Ninjago wave has featured only one set (excluding retail exclusives and spinners) that has included a Sensei; Winter 2011 - Spinjutzu Dojo Summer 2011 - Fire Temple Winter 2012 - Destiny's Bounty Summer 2012 - Epic Dragon Battle Winter 2013 - Temple of Light Winter 2014 - Mechdragon (I don't count Evil Wu because he was... well.. evil) So, sticking with the trend of one Sensei per wave, it is likely for Sensei Wu to appear in the summer wave of 2015. LegendsOfNinjago Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 With and a different variant for Zane could appear in the mystery set. I totally forgot about the ??? Set. I just hope it isn't a disappointment like the Destructiod was....I hope it's a mid set maybe $50 or $60. Quote
PenPlays Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 So apparently there has been confusion as to who exactly the Titanium Ninja is. Due to the last two episodes of Rebooted not being previously aired in English, it's little known information. Unless of course if you were to watch a pretty good quality version of episodes and 34 right now... Quote

Unless of course if you were to watch a pretty good quality version of episodes and 34 right now... episodes 33 and 34 were aired 4 months ago in english,in Australia and i watched them as somebody recorded them but that videos got deleted because they were illegal. Titanium Ninja is just a statue but as you can see, titanium dragon set has some white/trans blue parts in it which gives it ice elemental powers. so i am sure it's Zane. Quote
LegendsOfNinjago Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I really appreciate the new brick built dragon head! A huge upgrade from molds and mech dragon head! Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) Wait, how much does the anacondrai temple and the mobile ninja base cost? Thanks. Edited September 17, 2014 by TheLazyChicken Quote
Cagast Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 In the promo material you can read from that confidental sign "2013 The LEGO Group". is this a mistake or they created this in 2013.... Quote

I'm thinking they had these sets designed along with Rebooted. They tend to design things early to get minifigures and story ready. Quote

Mandate Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 So? They needed to get the general plot done (Hageman brothers can't just make a great season and then hope they can fulfill their plot promises, this isn't Hero Factory) and they need to get the sets polished and finalized. These would have happened in late 2013, possibly by a team separate to the Rebooted team (thus explaining some of the building style differences) Quote

Tobias_Jay Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Are these sets due for a January or December release, like Rebooted? Quote
