2015 is THE year for DC. Looking at those pre-lims I can see some good potential. We'll see how the final products look though. This is a great theme for figures, not builds, but the builds look okay this time around. I've been disappointed in the past.

I find it kind of weird that Batman is shown using the "super jumper" feature when he's probably the only superhero that can't super jump. Man I can't wait to collect super jumper pieces. Maybe I'll have as many super jumpers as brick separators after this wave...

And I recently heard from a lego store employee that the biggest set is the grodd on at the $70 or $60 price point the Darkseid one is $60 or $50, and the set of the sets are known to everyone.

Haha! I called it. It looked clearly bigger.

That's weird... Werst conversions/comparisons indicates Darkseid as being around $70 USD and Grodd being around $60 USD.

Yeah i know but even the but for the Darkseid set is somewhat smaller then the grodd set and the grodd one has 6 figures whereas the Darkseid one has 5. But you never know there are always surprises.

IMO the Grodd set looks smaller - about the same size as Black Manta's set.

Actually when you look at the ages it shows 8-14 which is ussally used in the big and expensive sets so im not sure about my price points.

Never even thought about that. Nice spot  . Also, sets usually go from least to most expensive as the set number geos up (excluding exclusives), but there have been exceptions to that in the past (Batcave).

To be honest, you named a majority of the line. Great minifigures, meh builds (or straight-up terrible)

The builds will probably be better in the official sets possibly making them the bets builds we have (with the possible exception of Arkham Asylum).

Look at previous prelims for past waves of sets in various themes. The models commonly change dramatically, so what we see now is not what we'll get. Look at the GL set on the prelims list for already visible proof. I'm sure the builds will be more refined by the time they're finalized.

I don't see any real difference except the color change of the back fin, print changes, and putting the official wings and stud shooter in place of the temporary substitutes. I think that one is finalized more so than the others since they planned on showing it off early at comic con (look at the javelin in the prelims and the one in the game, which I think is what we'll actually get).

GL set is very much the same. more than most prelims. certainly no dramatic changes..

I think the Darkseid Invasion set will be $70 because the Avenger's Quinjet (in 2012) had a jet in 5 minifigures. As YoshiBlockr said, the 8-14 age range could indicate that it is more expensive then the rest of the bunch.

Do any of you think that the cockpit of the Javelin will fit more than one minifigure? It looks like there is extra spacing in the back, but it would be small.

I think Batman will have a super jumper because he will launch from the Bat-mech to Gorilla Grodd. Also, it would be awesome to give him a grappling hook, attach the string to a building, and activate the super jumper. It would look like the grappling hook is pulling him up a building. Same goes for his sidekicks.

I think I'm going to skip the Black Manta set. I already have Aquaman and versions of Batman and Robin, so I do not want to pay $30-$40 just to get Black Manta plus ANOTHER BAT-VEHICLE. Just my honest opinion though.

Gorilla Grodd is iffy. I'd love to have another Flash, a New 52 Wonder Woman, Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, and an invisible jet, but if it's over $50, that's too much.

Brainiac Attacks looks like an awesome set: Brainiac, New 52 Superman (I assume), Supergirl, and Martian Manhunter make it awesome. Now I don't have to spend $75 (or $20 on Amazon) to get Martian Manhunter.

I think this wave is the BEST Lego DC Super Heroes wave. The 2016 wave and anything after that will probably be Lego Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Lego Shazam, Lego Justice League, Lego Aquaman, Lego Wonder Woman, and so on.

I wouldn't make any estimates for javelin seating based on this preliminary model. I have a felling it will be the video game design which looks to hold at least three.

Good luck on the Grodd set being under 50$, rumors are it's 60$ at least.

i dont know why the grodd set would be so much. it doesnt look that big, certainly not bigger than the javelin?

You can usually tell by the amount of minifigures. $50 usually have 5 minifigures, so it would make sense that since it has 6 it would be more expensive.

Why would a set with more minifigs cost less compared to a set with less minifigures. Doesn't add up. Not to mention you only get 1 vehicle (well I suppose the whatever Darkseid is using counts) while the less expensive set has three vehicles?

Even if we're talking about Price to piece, (If the Darkseid invasion IS more expensive than GG) Why wouldn't it include more figures?
