Steph 104th Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I think the Flash and Aquaman are awesome minifigures, the only way to improve them is Flash gets boots and Aquaman gets better hair. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The official box art for LB3 is out, and it looks like the new cowl we've seen on the space Batman is going to become the standard. I'm hoping that a new mold will allow us to use both the white eyes and the regular pupils...it's weird that Batgirl and Flash have regular eyes, but Batman doesn't. The new cowl was obviously made for Batfleck's cowl, but it work for comics. Flash and Batgirl have normal eyes most of the time, Batshas white eyes. Quote
TomKraut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) In a couple of other discussions, member ghostmind posted this link: http://shop.swisstoy...5_255&&page=all It's a Swiss b2b site, and it seems to have all the 2015 (1H) sets listed. There are no prices, and the names are in German (I translated them), but here you go: 76027 Black Manta's Attack in... (rest of the name is missing) 76040 Brainiac's Attack 76028 Darkseid's Ambush 76026 Gorilla Grodd's Rampage 76025 Green Lantern vs. Sinestro I think most (if not all) of this has already leaked in one form or another, but this source seems to be very genuine, so I thought I would share it. SMC Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 ^ Thanks so it must be MM in grodds set, why did I bother with the Lego shop one. Quote
Legoman123 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Well I'm glad to here that we are seeing five sets. Hopefully Brainiac Attack will include Shazam and Firefly. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Oh, there is a fifth set. That's great. I hope that that Brickset user was wrong about the minifigures though: Supergirl would be a great addition (we really need more women), but I hate that crotch clamp that her New 52 look has, and it doesn't look too great in the video game images either. Ah well. At least this confirms Brainiac, and likely a new Martian Manhunter! Quote
Legoman123 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 We are getting Martian Manhunter in the Darkseid set, so hopefully we will see some new heroes and the Watchtower in the Brainiac set. Quote
just2good Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 We are getting Martian Manhunter in the Darkseid set, so hopefully we will see some new heroes and the Watchtower in the Brainiac set. I don't remember 'Hulk_Smash' saying that; however, since 76040 is the Braniac set, I'd say he'd come in there, as Jennifer was right about the name and info. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I wonder who the green guy in the Darkseid set is then. I can't think of many people it could be besides Brainiac or J'onn.... Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Sorry but I was mistaken about there bieng a green guy in the Darkseid set The person in the cockpit of the Javlin is a white man with black hair (no idea who he is), and Darkseid has a big ground cannon, Captain Cold is in the Grodd set (forgot seeing him last time) and there is a civvie in the car, and I was wrong about the height of the mech, it is only 2 bigfigs high Robin has a red helmet on in the Manta set And this Brainac set (if it exists) must be some sort of exclusive. Interesting. Maybe it is Kyle Rayner in the Javelin - a black haired Green Lantern (and his suit might explain why you thought he was green at first) Quote

Thanks once again! Captain Cold is spectacular news, and I guess that does open up J'onn to be in the Brainiac set. White man with black hair could be almost anybody though. Maybe Shazam at best and Robin at worst? Quote
tafkatb Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Captain Cold is in the Grodd set (forgot seeing him last time) and there is a civvie in the car So, five minifigures and a bigfig? This set is starting to sound expensive, not that that's going to stop me. Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Well the guy in the Javlin had stubble, so probably not robin Quote
TomKraut Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 And this Brainac set (if it exists) must be some sort of exclusive. I don't think so. The information is from a Swiss b2b site, meaning a company where smaller toy shops order their merchandise. It is however possible that the Brainiac set will have a later release in the UK than in mainland Europe and is thus not part of the retail catalog you get your information from. Quote
Peasantseverywhere Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 This is the best news of the year , looks like Lego are really stepping up next year , to be honest as long as i get a Shazam figure i will be happy !!!! Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) I suppose that's possible. Want Shazam a SDCC exclusive the other year? Wouldn't that mean we won't see him in a set anytime soon? Edited August 28, 2014 by Hulk_Smash Quote

Thanks for the news Hulk_Smash. You wouldn't happen to know if Captian Cold has his classic look or his new 52 one would you? Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I suppose that's possible. Want Shazam a SDCC exclusive the other year? Wouldn't that mean we won't see him in a set anytime soon? Two years ago would probably be enough of a gap to be considered "not anytime soon," plus that was his classic costume when a new figure would probably be the rebooted one. Though if the figure has stubble, it probably isn't him. The face could be a stand in though. Do you have any idea what color clothes or what hair piece he had? Quote
Hulk_Smash Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) I only knew it was captain cold because he was wearing a blue parka and had a ice gun (and I only put that together after remembering he was going to be in the Flash TV show) And the guy in the Javlin had the sleepy head hair in black (at least that's what it looked like) Edited August 28, 2014 by Hulk_Smash Quote

Captain Nemo Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Captain COLD!* If this turns out to be correct, this will easily be the best DC wave ever! So to clarify the Grodd set will have: Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman; Grodd and now Captain Cold? That number seems on par with similar sets we had this wave like Hulk Lab Smash. *Granted I bet he won't have boots...I'm keeping this up as long as you can Lego... ---- Spiked black hair is interesting, especally for someone whose flying the Javelin. It could be Nightwing again perhaps? Or maybe someone like Superboy or something. There's not too many options I suppose for who it could be, at least not with that style of hair. Quote
Steph 104th Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Thanks for the Awesome news, Captain Cold is great news. I have no idea who's in the Javelin though. Quote
