Hulk_Smash Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I tried before and she wouldn't let me. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 TAKE PICTURES!!! MAKE A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT AND POST THEM ON IT Sorry, but that is the most annoying thing I've seen all day. And Hulk_Smash. Thank you for planning on looking at the catalog again. It's a great opportunity for us to get more info and I cannot thank you enough. I can't wait to hear what new details surface. Quote

adotnamedstud Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Also, on the LEGO Batman 3 boxart, I'd love to see that be Superman's grinning face it looks so great for the character. Quote
TheBuoyWonder Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I wonder if we'll get a new robin variant. I'd be nice to have a slight variation than just Tim. Obviously Damian was a nice breath of fresh air but I think Tim is Lego's main "go to" robin. Quote
adotnamedstud Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I wonder if we'll get a new robin variant. I'd be nice to have a slight variation than just Tim. Obviously Damian was a nice breath of fresh air but I think Tim is Lego's main "go to" robin. Well it is the only logical route as of now. Nightwing and Damian were made, Jason Todd's Robin had a horrible fate that they don't want kids looking up. Carrie Kelly and Stephanie Brown aren't considered mainstream enough either. So Tim is the most logical choice and they cannot make Red Robin yet because Tim MUST be the Robin in LEGO, I of course would love some more variation for the suit but we know that if he looks better than Batman, LEGO probably won't make him since they want the sets to be Batman based. Which is sad but may be subject for change in the upcoming years as this wave is VERY diverse. And I'd love to see a Red Robin figure soon. Because it still is technically Robin Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I'm actually going in tomorrow, I'll try and get another look at the Darkseid set and see who is in the cockpit I didn't see him with a trident, and Robin had something on his head, but I couldn't tell what it was (might have been because he was upside down) Its probably his diving suit.from the game with that old school helmet. Probably attached.to.some.underwater structure. If you get another look, minifigures above all else. -Whos in the cockpit (i bet MM) - is the Ninjago guy Cyborg ( i have no doubt that is who that is we need him to complete the New 52 main JLers) - and the winged guy Anythi Quote
TheBuoyWonder Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 And if possible could you get a good look at the Batmech? Just to see what kinda details it has. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Thank you, Hulk_Smash. You've been great to answer our questions and be our new informer. It's very exciting, although I wish the sets were already finalized and the pics were here now! I'll try to be patient, though. It actually makes it more satisfying when they are revealed. Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 hey I didn't mean to come across annoying sorry hulk_smash thanks for going back I'm just really exited for this wave and I REALLY want to know if we are going to Brainiac Quote
Legoman123 Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Hulk_Smash if it's not too much trouble could you have a look to see if Black Manta's submarine has a lot of interior space? Quote
Ashnflash Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 (edited) Tomorrow could you please look for these characters: Brainiac:http://img1.wikia.no...x-Brainiacc.png Hawkman: http://img3.wikia.no...3bg_hawkman.png Robin: http://img4.wikia.no...ysteryRobin.png Martian Manhunter: http://www.xboxachie...anhunter_01.jpg Cyborg: http://img3.wikia.no...borg_New_52.jpg Edited August 26, 2014 by MODOCTORDOOM Quote
klinton Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 That's why I said with any significance. ;) She's fought Medusa three major times if I remember correctly, but cyclopes and minotaurs were always just grunts that never had any major role in her lore (there was a really cool minotaur supporting character though). That'd be like saying the crooks from the LEGO City lines would be enough for Batman in terms of his villains. :P I'm hoping we get Cheetah or Circe really soon. Aye, Cheetah or Circe would be amazing! I'm not going to hold my breath though. Circe seems to have fallen off DC's radar these days. She's made...one appearance since the New 52 launch? In a B-list book that was cancelled on it's eighth issue? :/ Cheetah seems likely. She's a major DC villain all around. Quote

In a B-list book that was cancelled on it's eighth issue? :/ Cheetah seems likely. She's a major DC villain all around. Cheetah hasn't been that big in New 52 either if memory serves correctly. I know she made an appearance or two in Justice League, but I don't recall her showing up since then (though she may have been in one of the eight thousand Forever Evil issues). Though I wish she were included, I guess I can see why Cheetah isn't in any of the sets. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I'm only disappointed about her absence since they are apparently so disgusted by the idea of WW being the star of a set that they relegated her to support. If she had her own set, Cheetah would have been in it. Her heavy spotlighting in the game doesn't make it any better. Quote

Perhaps if she proves to be successful in BvS or a solo Wonder Woman film we can get a decent set with her as the star. Quote
8BrickMario Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I still think the irony of WW being in BvS is that the character's cinematic debut was actually The LEGO Movie! Quote
hollisbrick Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 No. Haha oh snap! But actually guys, you shouldn't ask someone to take pictures, it's kind of disrespectful, especially after all the info he has already given us, be happy with what you got ;) Quote
DJ Bricks Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I still think the irony of WW being in BvS is that the character's cinematic debut was actually The LEGO Movie! A.sad fact indeed. Though she get her jet, she still is sandwiched between Flash and Bats. Quote
K-Nut Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 A.sad fact indeed. Though she get her jet, she still is sandwiched between Flash and Bats. Yup. Especially since (supposedly) the Bat Mech is supposedly three big figs tall, meaning that her jet is basically just used to get the piece count up up to the right price range. Again, though. Better than nothing (though I surely am complaining about it a lot ). Quote
Colossus Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Sorry, but that is the most annoying thing I've seen all day. Actually, the incessant questions asking the same thing about preliminary sets, not even the final product, has been the most annoying thing all flippin' WEEK. I'm as excited as the next guy about new DC sets, but the superhero threads have gone from new info graciously shared by Hulk_Smash to a perpetual nagfest from peeps too lazy to go back a couple pages to read Hulk_Smash's updates. Phew...feel better already. Anyshitz, I could not be more excited about DC Lego sets based on this leaked info. Having a fully realized minifig JLA based on the new team is like a dream come true! On top of that, having the Javelin, Invisible Jet, and such instead of the umpteenth bat-vehicle is just too much. This is like a Golden Age of Superhero Lego, and I'm very happy that I came out of my dark ages to be a part of it. Quote

Though I wish she were included, I guess I can see why Cheetah isn't in any of the sets. She actually appeared quite a bit in the New 52. After her Justice League debut, she was recruited into the Suicide Squad by Waller, and later had her own (mediocre) one-shot during Forever Evil. Plus she was a pretty big antagonist in the Forever Evil: ARGUS mini. I'm pretty miffed that she didn't get invited into Luthor's own Justice League... Wondie had no rogues on that team. She's also on the cover of the new Lego Batman game, so who knows. I'm hoping they sneak her in somehow. I'm only disappointed about her absence since they are apparently so disgusted by the idea of WW being the star of a set that they relegated her to support. If she had her own set, Cheetah would have been in it. Her heavy spotlighting in the game doesn't make it any better. I don't think they'll do a set featuring a female lead for a long, long time, unless it's marketed towards girls and most likely in the Friends style. It's sad how sexist toy companies have become. When I was a kid, there were tons of female action figures to choose from. Now we get a few Princess Leias and maybe a Black Widow here and there. They don't even bother trying to market Wonder Woman it seems. I'm hoping BvS will change that. Quote
