August 1st. Maybe a little before then at ToysRUs, since they always put their products out a little before the street date.

If anyone finds them at Toys R Us by Saturday, they'll be on sale. All LEGO Super Heroes sets are 20% off this week.

I doubt they will be in Toys R Us this Saturday, but if they are, 20% off would be awesome. I just have no faith that the new sets will be there. If anything, they are probably using the 20% off, to get rid of the older sets FIRST, and in turn making room for the new ones.

A little FYI, I actually bought the Jokerland set from Bricklink. I got it from a seller in Belgium, and WITH the shipping, it came out to $120.00 bucks. I got it within a week and a half. It is going to be $120 bucks here, plus tax, so I figured why not, and I got it a month in advance.

Hey, thats pretty good. $120 even is nothing to laugh at. A lot of people forget to factor in tax, so an opportunity like that is one to really jump on.

Do you guys have the DPCI #s for the other superheroe sets?

For the Carnage Shield Sky Attack the DCPI is 204-00-1103. It doesn't look like they have the Villan Team-Up or Jokerland yet though.

No problem. Glad you found it!

Do we know if there will be other DC sets scheduled to be released in 2015? I haven't the chance to check rumors recently :classic:

Anyway regarding Jokerland I want to say it is a wonderful set. I had so much fun building it. I decided to buy it for the Minifigures but I enjoyed the build far more than the Minfigures.

Don't misunderstand me, the Minifigures are nice but they have mixed look from different sources. I mean, Batman wears his New 52 costume (and with boot printing as well :classic: ) Beast Boy has green skin like he was on "New Earth" (pre New 52) version and Starfire is the version from Teen Titans go.

They mixed a lot of things. It's not bad per se. I'm just disappointed with Starfire. I was so excited to have a Minifigure of her but instead of the comic version they made the Teen Titan go version with purple hair and a terrible hairpiece that prevent any headpiece movement.

Do you have any idea to replace that hairpiece? Perhaps some read hairpiece from the Friends/Elves sets? Do you think there is a better hairpiece for the lovely Princess Kori that looks more like her comics version?

Thank you very much for the help. She is one of my favorite characters :classic:

Any long hairpiece will restrict head movement, so nothing else is going to solve the problem. It's obvious why they didn't make the comic version of Starfire, so they went all out with the TTG designs so she wouldn't be out of place. I think they all look great, minus the setup for a chance to buy a "new" Harley with hair next year, like putting boots on Batman in only one set this year. I feel like they will rerelease the minifigure with proper hair, but it's just a cheap marketing tactic that takes advantage of budget limitations.

EDIT: Here's a horrendous Photoshop mock-up I made of what they should have done.

Did you call your Target? Or did you ask one of the workers to look it up?

Honestly it's neither obvious nor understandable, since the current Starfire costume is not more "skimpy" than Slave Leia bikini and they had no problem in making that Minifigure. However I don't want to start talking about the "costumes issues" lol :classic:

Well, Slave Leia wears a full bikini, while straps only cover what would be censored on Starfire's body. I think both are skimpy, but Starfire's leaves much less to the imagination.

Actually the Starfire's costume from Starfire #1 and #2 2015 series is less skimpy than Leia Bikini. I don't have an image to link here but if you google it you can see it by yourself.

It's actually a top over a bikini bottom, so much less revealing than Leia bikini :classic:

Not that being skimpy is a crime lol but if that was the designers's concern that Starfire's would be more "suitable" than Leia bikini, just for the records

Anyway does anyone have a suggestion for a read hairpiece for Starfire? At least I'm trying to give her the right colored hair :classic:

She has a new, better costume, but the one before was unsuitable for a LEGO design.

For red hair, I'd try April's hair from the TMNT movie sets. Ariel's hair might work, too, but the new design has more orange hair, so some of those hairpieces could work too.

Well, like I said I don't want to enter the "costumes issue" discussion, since I know it tends to bring the conversation out of topic lol and it's a quite "sensitive" one

I read so many "fervent" quarrels on that matter :classic:

Thanks for the info on the hairpiece. The only problem is I can't find the TMNT sets. I can try to Bricklink the parts but every time I find what I need it is sold by a seller outside EU and that increases the shipping cost considerably. I'll keep looking :classic:

I was thinking about using some of the read hairpieces from the Elves/Friends sets (which I can find at a nice price, sometimes even discounted) but I noticed perhaps the red of those hairpieces is a bit darker for Starfire.

I know it's not easy to find the right hairpiece for her comics version, since it should be also be longer than most available hairpieces but I'm trying to get the closest possible with the available parts :classic:
