AwesomeBantha Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Hello Eurobricks! Like everyone else in this sub-forum, I'll start by introducing myself: I'm AwesomeBantha from, well, Tatooine (no, I won't disclose my real location ), and I've been MOC-ing and photographing for about a year, and collecting since I was 11! Since then I've been active on Instagram, and plan on expanding to YouTube and Flickr by the end of the year. If you're on IG, be sure to reply so that I can like and follow you! In the future, I plan on building huge MOCs-mostly Star Wars-and creating custom-printed minifigures (again, Star Wars. Did I mention that it's my favorite theme )! I'd also love to enter SoNE (Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka), some contests, and even post some reviews. Additionally, I'll be attending Brickfair VA this August (the 2nd), so if anyone knows what it's like and what to expect, I'd really appreciate getting a reply ! What about you? Even though I've been following this forum since January, Eurobricks has 38,000+ members so chances are, I (sadly) don't know you.. Looking forward to engaging/collaborating/meeting you soon, AwesomeBantha Quote
grum64 Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) Hello AwesomeBantha Welcome to Eurobricks. It's good to have you with us. Along with myself, I have 2 young Grandsons who are looking forward to seeing your future Star Wars MOCs. Hope you enjoy your time here. Edited July 21, 2014 by grum64 Quote
Lady K Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Welcome to Eurobricks! Will you be attending Brickfair VA only on Aug 2, or the whole time? Quote
AwesomeBantha Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Welcome to Eurobricks! Will you be attending Brickfair VA only on Aug 2, or the whole time? I'll only attend on the 2nd. Sadly. Have you ever been? What should I expect? Quote
Lady K Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I will be there all five days. If you are able to be there the full day as an exhibitor then expect a lot of fun things to do. Check out the schedule ahead of time to make the most of your day. If you can only come as a public visitor then arrive early, the line will start forming early to get in and be quite long by opening time. Allow at least four hours to see everything. Check out the event map as soon as you can to make sure you know the layout of different themes. Hope this helps, and you have a great time. Quote
