JoeMI6 Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Considering this is primarily a European lego forum, and I know for a fact there are many Star Wars fans on here, I think it's right for me to pose the question, who's going to Celebration Europe? I'm certainly going, with the tickets already booked and paid for by a good friend. Anyone from nearby countries making the hyperspace leap to London on the weekend of the event? I for one cannot wait for it, as it gives us lot to show the Americans how it's done ;-) (sorry to the Yanks who read this). Also, meeting guys like Dave Prowse and Jeremy Bulloch and Ray Park will be great. Celebrate on! EDIT: I wasn't sure whether this is community or culture & multimedia, so if an Admin could move it if appropriate. Quote
mutley777 Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 I'm going with friends and can't wait :-P . I am hoping lego will have a stand at the show and maybe, just maybe some gold C-3po's or a special set. Now that would be awesome!!!! Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 I'm going on the Saturday with JoeMI6 and another friend of ours. Quote
zero1312 Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Unfortunately, I nether have time nor money to go there! |-/ *Sniff* :-( Quote

Lord Thrawn Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Although with the price of autographs... I don't think we'll be able to afford gifts for our favourite Dark Lord. Quote
Wout Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I've got no time and no money, so If anyone who goes will make pictures for us. ;-) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted June 5, 2007 Author Posted June 5, 2007 Most definitely! At least pictures won't cost us a thing ;-) But I've already started saving for whatever cool merchandise is available. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 What a coincidence! I'm going to go to the UK this summer (in july)! It's a language travel to Plymouth, and we're going to visit London too! *sweet* But I don't think I can go to Celebration Europe... |-/ Quote
The Kid Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Woo, just confirmed last night, I'm going on Saturday the 14th! Can't wait, should be ace! :-D :-D TK Quote
The Kid Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Cool, just I have no idea what your name, age or appearance is. ;-) Unless I go walking up to every last person there: "Are you Lord Thrawn?" And yes, knowing me I'd probably say that to the SW Actors too. :-P ;-) TK BTW, no, I'm not asking you for your name, age or appearance. ;-) Quote
JoeMI6 Posted June 25, 2007 Author Posted June 25, 2007 lol, cool. Well, I guess there is a small chance of us meeting a guy who we don't really know the name of and who we have no idea of what he looks like ;-) I can't wait to go there and see how many people we meet who are dressed up on the journey there. Imagine a tube packed full of Stormies and Jedi lol :-P Quote

mutley777 Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 I got my passes on saturday! I hope lego has a shop to buy sets and maybe some of the new sets! I would love to pick up a hoth set early :-P . I can't wait to get a look at that new UCS falcon too! God this is going to be great!! Quote
lostcarpark Posted July 8, 2007 Posted July 8, 2007 Wish I could be going, but I will be in England two other weekends in July, so something had to give. Lego will be there, and their stand will feature the UCS Millennium Falcon in a specially constructed Bocking Bay 94 built by members of the Brickish Association from their "Mos Lego" display. The Brickish Association will be in the fan area, with a selection of other models from Mos Lego. Here are some photos from the full Mos Lego display in Leicester. It really is rather stunning. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Damn we're gonna spend some more time than we thought at the LEGO area huh Joe? And to The Kid, we might not have time to go meeting people after all. Busy day. Quote
Lord Thrawn Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 We're gonna be leaving from here at 7:30am and coming home after 8:00pm... long day! Quote
