I made these two Snow groomers a while back in the winters of 2005 and 2006. Both are small real Brick MOCs, but I've got a slightly altered CAD-version with instructions for them, too.

1. v1.0 from February 2005

I'll start with the first edition, which I made way back in early February 2005. I used the <insert that tiresome argument> Threads and the front plow of my 6573 set. Most of the underbody was supplied by the Arctic Expedition set, too. The Cab, is heavily inspired by classic Town trucks. It has a 10-wide rear plow, too, where I used 5 Minifig hips and legs, too make it look right.

here's the whole Real Brick built model. The snow on the picture is real. The groomer is quite simple and has some room on the backside. The snow scooter is classic 90s style, too, but with an Arctic MF.

This is the groomer only viewed from back at the table in the Living room. And now the link to the

instructions folder at brickshelf

The whole CAD version contains only 127 pieces including the 3 figs, because it has an additional MF on skis, that is missing in the real version.

The built was easy with little SNOT and the low piece count, it would be 10-15€ calculated to lego prices.

Sorry, for some color errors, didn't find the black slopes.

2. v2.0 made in February 2006

I've built this version about one year later, in another great winter. Meanwhile, I've recieved a lot of the classic technic chainlinks with the Sandcrawler set for Xmas. And I just had to use them for the underbody, since my previous version was slightly, too simplified. For the built I've reused the front plow from set 6573 and the rear plow design od the earlier one, but with blue minifig legs. The underbody is made up of mostly technic bricks, due to the chainlinks. The cab is altered from the early version, with a different rear window. and the rear is 2 studs shorter and no scooter as supply, but a skier.

This is the whole MOC and again actual and fresh snow on the picture, so the threads now leave marks and add more realism on the photo. There are some tools behind the cab, like the shovel and the radio and even a set of skis in the whole cargo compartment.

this is the rear view from the living room table. It's altered compared to the old version stated above.

I made instructions for the set, too. it contains now 203pcs and was a medium difficult build for something that small. Calculated to lego prices it would sell at 15€ - 20€.

This is the CAD render, only some color change in parts and no 4-long bars for the skis in the RBB-version

Very nice! The second version is best, I would certainly buy it if it were an official set! *sweet*

I've tried making some snow groomers myself, but I abandoned the project, because I don't have any of those chainlinks, only the rubber ones, as in version 1. *sad*

The only thing I'm not happy with is the front plow, it doesn't look real. :-/ Maybe you should try something like this?

Now all you need to complete this MOC, is to add some extra equipment!

Maybe a halfpipe groomer?

And a crane?

In the meanwhile, Leg Godt and Snow on! ;-)

Very nice, I like both versions of your snow groomer, although these technic chains

look a bit better. Very playable, with a good size and color scheme. A neat work! *y*
