All LEGO themes could take place in the same lego-universe.

Here's the history lesson :pir-vader:!

Let's start from the top. In an episode of Ninjago, Cole refers to Clutch Powers. Clutch takes place in the same world as both LEGO City and Power Miners. Scientist Dr. Brains from the Power Miners theme was later included in an Atlantis set. Atlantis took place in the same world as Dino, Alien Conquest, and Pharoh's Quest. Clutch Powers also confirms that LEGO City takes place in the same world as Space Police, Castle :enough: , Kingdoms, etc.

There's definitely no connection. :sarcasm_smug:

Now, look into some other themes.

Galaxy Squad has the connection to Ultra Agents through Solomon Blaze.

Hero Factory made a cameo in Clutch Powers.

Dino and Adventurers take place in the same world, as Josh Thunder is related to Johnny Thunder.

Adventurers took place on Earth, which could lead to only one conclusion:

All of these themes take place on Earth.

As crazy as it sounds, it could be true. :angel_sing:

The connections make some sense, but this leads to another question:

What about Ninjago?

Ninjago may take place on another planet, or in uncharted land.

But that theory isn't true.

If I'm not mistaken, some of these theme take place on different worlds or planets.

This leads to my final conclusion:

All of those themes are connected.

That leaves themes such as Chima, Friends, Bionicle, etc. out with no proof. There are theories, though. Until we got official appearences, we've got nothing on them.

"The LEGO Movie Theory"

Eww, more theories? My head hurts enough :ugh:

The LEGO Movie theory states that all themes coexist in different worlds. Ninjago, Super Heroes, Star Wars, Bionicle, Speed Racer, etc. all make some lesser appearences. But what is most interesting is Friends. Here comes my part of the theory!

A sign in bricksburg points to Heartlake City. Sound familiar?

This means the The LEGO Movie and Heartlake city are definitely confirmed.

But which theory to you accept as "canon?" LEGO Rundown or The LEGO Movie Theory? Do you have your own canon? Is there a way I can improve this? Did I miss something? Will I ever stop asking questions?

Creator is certainly getting more like City, and City has similarities to TLM.

I wonder what Kevin Bacon makes of all this.

CMF is in the same universe as Blacktron (the Space Pirate and the Evil Mech). CMF is also in the same universe as the Adventurers- the Grandma went on adventures with Johnny Thunder!

Based on The LEGO Movie, Fabuland, Blacktron, Knights Kingdom, Vikings, Bionicle, Western, City, Classic Space, Atlantis, Pirates, and many more are all connected (probably all of the themes are connected in that movie- Forest of Obsolete Products!). However, the connections in the movie shouldn't count towards this because:

the kid and his father bought all of the sets and mixed them together- they might not actually exist in the same universe.

Chima seems to be in a separate universe.

There was already a heat debate for The LEGO Movie. To make it short, yes, we know there are official evidence showing that LEGO themes are connected, or in a different view, we can put them together physically.

The main problem that might also happen in other comic omniverse is, there are multiple different official crossover canons. LEGO Universe, despite bring one of them, seems to be obviously different from the others. The Clutch Powers showed a very tradtional way of how LEGO theme are connected. The LEGO Movie is the crazisest and the most fantasy-like version of crossover so far.

I don't think Ninjago is not connected, the background Ninjago City can simply be one of the regions on the LEGO world. Also Clutch had been referred in the cartoon once.

I think whether or not LEGO themes are connected depends on the situation. Dwayne McDuffie, a writer for superhero comics and cartoons, had a pretty good attitude about crossovers — it's just silly to assume that two series share the same universe and continuity just because they occasionally cross over with one another. He highlighted the absurdity in his Grand Unification Theory of Television, which looked at what would happen if you applied that rule to live-action television.

I don't think anybody writing the silly crossover comics for the LEGO Magazines intends for the ways they connect the universes to be thought of as canon. There was a crossover comic in the July–August 2007 LEGO Brickmaster magazine that placed characters from various themes togeter in a cafeteria, including BIONICLE characters (who naturally towered over everyone else, since it was all in LEGO scale). Officially, however, BIONICLE does not share a universe or even a multiverse with any other LEGO themes. The comic was merely a one-page, stand-alone joke about "what your favorite LEGO Characters do on their time off".

Now, some crossovers perhaps deserve a bit more merit than others. LEGO Batman and others DEFINITELY exist in The LEGO Movie's universe, though this does not necessarily mean that the LEGO Movie's own original characters exist in LEGO Batman's universe, or that the LEGO Batman in The LEGO Movie is the same character as the LEGO Batman in other media related to that theme.

Likewise, Dr. Brains from the Power Miners appears in a LEGO Atlantis set, which strongly suggests that the connection between the themes extends beyond individual stories and they do, in fact, share a universe. And Vladek from Knights' Kingdom was confirmed to be an ancient ancestor of Ogel from Alpha Team. But you can only take this line of thinking so far. A skeleton wearing an Aqua Raiders helmet appears in the Portal to Atlantis set, but this is basically just a cheeky reference, not an indication that LEGO Atlantis represents the "future" of LEGO Aqua Raiders. In-universe, the helmet might not have the same significance it has to us LEGO fans, and might just happen to resemble the helmet from another, unrelated story, the same way various wetsuits from LEGO City happen to resemble Squidtron's torso from Space Police III.

LEGO has depicted all kinds of connections between their themes before; there's no one real official way of looking at it, which is as it should be. The biggest connection is arguably the Time Cruisers theme, which assumes by definition that all the minifigure-related themes occur along the same timeline. This is my favorite way of looking at the LEGO universe; we have a discussion on this over in the Space Timeline thread.

BTW, are we sure that Solomon Blaze from Galaxy Squad is supposed to be the same character as the Solomon Blaze in the new Ultra Agents sets? That doesn't seem to make a lot of sense...

Who's Josh Thunder? Looking at Brickset, there's no names attached to Dino or Dino Attack, so which theme is he in?

Ultra Agents, in the case of Solomon Blaze, must be set in the distant future, as Agent Blaze appears to be much older than Squad Blaze.

Hi

How Dino is connected to Monster Fighters and how Monster Fighters is connected to Galaxy Squad?

Others I understand.

Monster Fighters is connected to Galaxy Squad through a Lego Magazine comic in which Lord Vampire's moonstones summoned the buggoids. I don't know about the other one.

I think the LEGO movie isn't canon because it is pretty much a kids MOC-canon.

And I think all if not most unlicensed themes with minifigures are connected.

He is a descendant of Johnny Thunder himself.

The Morro Ninjago season had a brief cameo of Chima when Lloyd was bouncing around various dimensions.

Those ''dimensions'' are actually called ''realms'' in the show. :classic:

But with  which Dino theme? I checked the recent Dino, from a few years back, Dino Attack, and the sub theme of Adventurers...no mention of a Josh Thunder named character, according to Brickset.

Another connection to add to the list.

Toxikita and Invizable are two of the competitors in the Ninjago Tournament of Elements.  These same two characters are also featured in the Ultra Agents line, with the exact same appearance, outfits and name spellings

What do you mean same name spellings? Those two characters don't even use the same names in Ninjago as they do in UA. Toxikita's Ninjago look-alike is only ever named as Tox, which, okay, could be a nickname. But Invizable's counterpart in Ninjago is only ever referred to as Paleman. I'm pretty sure Tommy Andreasen (one of the co-creators of Ninjago) has gone on the record saying Ninjago and Ultra Agents do not exist in the same universe, and that this was just a case of reusing those two character models.

Well my bad then I was basing that on the names I found in the wikipedia article, which listed them as Toxikita and Invizable as I mentioned earlier.  That's cool if it was officially mentioned they don't connect, just found it interesting that those two characters have the exact same appearance down to colors of clothing and even logos
