The fact that Katalina had voted is interesting as well, especially since she seems not to like to talk. I'm going to catch up shortly and compile my thoughts a bit better.

Voting would have to be shifted a decent bit, and with 4 hours left and Abbott nowhere to be seen, I'm concerned that Alan might be taken regardless. Willing to change my vote, but I also am slightly concerned about how Katalina is playing, because I've seen her play as town this way in a few recent games, as far as I recall. What really bugged me, however, was how Mei was talkingn about how she was viewing Katalina as the scummiest for a whole, yet was voting otherwise from the start. Do you care to explain, Mei? Meanwhile, I looked into seeing when Katalina was last awake, and it seemed like it was about an hour ago. I don't understand why she wouldn't try to be active as scum. It's not like her playing style for any of her games, and It's interesting to see how fast the vote turned around onto her.

"I voted for Allen at the start, when new information came forward that indicated Katalina, I changed it."

Bob Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I switched my vote to Katalina. Her absence is strange, but even stranger is the fact that she had time to vote. Why would she have time to vote and not talk in thread? I think that this vote tally is quite illuminating and I believe I'll be reviewing the people who have voted randomly (like Miguel) as well as the people who voted for Da-Shan. I'm still suspicious about Mei Zhen, and I'm willing to pass Alan's comments off as jittery roleplaying I suppose.

I don't think we should take it as gospel, but you have made some very good points, and I think it's enough to make Alan (adventurer1) a dangerous lynch candidate for tonight. His comment that I brought up before still puts me off, but I think my vote can be far more useful elsewhere. Da-Shen (Speedy), you've raised a solid argument against Katalina (Kristel), and at the least in the interest of not letting Alan (adventurer1) be lynched, I will be voting for her.

However, I find her posts genuinely annoying, and on day one, there's not much better things to go on." Ok so I switched to voting for Mei. Being the first day I know the evidence is thin wherever we look. I never jumped on the Alan bandwagon, seemed to, shall I say, obvious. But it appears my initial voting instinct was off as well. Which brings me to Mei. Her play early on was sporadic, with nothing to say other than to vote for annoying people, which I just don't see as a good justification for a vote. She contributed nothing through the first three pages. I am likely completely off base, but I'm going with it and since Da-Shan having opened this up, I felt I could be more open without being secretly ganged up on. As a side note, this open vote is going to yield piles of interesting data!
def Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Juan, if you have suspicions at the start, it's best to voice them. A silent town is great for scum to hide in. If everyone speaks up, the scum are forced to speak up too, and there's a far greater chance of them slipping up. On the off chance Katalina is scum, scum are under no obligation to switch their vote. They can just pretend they weren't around. Hmmm. Oh, and Bebe is terrible. Let's not forget that.

Katalina is on right now, so let's see if she has anything to say for once. Juan is still on my list of suspects. So far he has refused to vote for both of the lynch targets and chosen either somebody who accused the suspects, or somebody who has received scrutiny but had it lowered. Why are you so against voting for the main suspects, Juan?

My apologies, but there is a rocket spraying the proverbial everywhere back at home. My vote for Alan was based on the discussion to date and I made the vote knowing that I was going to need to leave. I still think that it is the right vote.

Katalina I'm iffy towards because she has hardly said anything and came in only to vote. Katalina is also apparently being replaced by someone else. Mei has said only fluff and nothing relevant. I'm willing to vote for Mei, but Katalina will stay at the top of my list as well.

Then I vote for someone of whom I am suspicious, providing my logic mind you, and others have since then also agreed with me, and yet you think it's scummy of me not to bandwagon. I repeat, wow. I may or may not be right, I have no special info, but I bandwagon vote provides very little data and is often a way for scum to hide. I go out on a limb by not following the crowd, and instead going with what I see. I am still laughing when I read your statement, "Why are you so against voting for the main suspects, Juan?" Anyway, if I'm off base I'd be more than willing to listen to a GOOD explanation as to why, otherwise, I'm sticking to my position and not chasing every whim that blows across my screen.

Why are you so against voting for the main suspects, Juan? I noticed that, too. With similar arguments against Mei and Katalina, he refused to vote for Katalina, who is much closer to being lynched. Katalina may be replaced soon, but if she had time to vote, she had time to say something in thread. But she didn't, so I'm keeping my vote where it is.
