highlandcattle Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 EDIT: title should have been another village house *sigh* Another house made for inside my train track: This is actually a remake from the red/yellow fachwerkhouse I made befor, but thanks to the big mosaic set I was able to make it black. This is also the first time that I finished a house on the inside aswell. Check it out: Daddy and the son are waiting Whilst mommy is slaving in the kitchen. This one is also heavly based on Daniel Siskinds house, tell me what you think! Quote
Minifig Lecturer Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Nice House. The colour co-ordination is very good and some very nice detail, especially the hanging lights in the ground floor *y* Quote
Asuka Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Very nice with a good color scheme, appealing proportions and lovely details like that kitchen and that window shutter. *y* Quote
zeki Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Nice job highlandcattle! Great for medival looking town, it would be even possible to incorporate it into medern town.nice job Quote
alex54 Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 Nice house, better than your old red/yellow fachwerkhouse! And the interior details add a lot to the general moc. Even if the house is closed, when you know that there are some things to show inside, the house looks more "complete" from the outdoor (It's what I feel, don't laugh at me :-$ ) Now we are waiting for the next house and the layout... zouave Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Cool.It kinda looks like the tudor house in the game of ''Life.'' X-D But I'll admit, the outside looks better than the inside. :-/ All in all, great job. *y* Quote
highlandcattle Posted May 29, 2007 Author Posted May 29, 2007 Hey thanks for the nice comments. Poor Mommy, nice houseI wish I had so much blue roofslopes. I bought them at a second hand toy store , they are really old but still do the trick Nice house, better than your old red/yellow fachwerkhouse! And the interior details add a lot to the general moc. Even if the house is closed, when you know that there are some things to show inside, the house looks more "complete" from the outdoor (It's what I feel, don't laugh at me :-$ ) Now we are waiting for the next house and the layout... Thanks , I agree with you an the interior thing. Ever since I sorted out my bricks, designing interior stuff has been pleasant! Before it was such a drag trying to find a bricks in my huge pile. Currently I'm working on two more "fachwerk" houses and to others. When one is complete (and decorated) I will show it to you all. Quote
