woody64 Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 What program are you designing them in? MS Paint? Power Point Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 23, 2007 Governor Posted May 23, 2007 PowerPoint? Now that's interesting. I've never thought of using that for creating images and it seems to be doing the job nicely. Quote
woody64 Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 PowerPoint? Now that's interesting. I've never thought of using that for creating images and it seems to be doing the job nicely. The major advantage to my point of view is that you can handle your drawings as sum of different objects. Which allows changes on an object level, for example changing the coat or changing the belt. Governor Mister Phes Posted May 23, 2007 Governor Posted May 23, 2007 Indeed Powerpoint can be used for that. Although programs like Illustrator and Fireworks do it much better and with many more options - probably because they're designed for that very purpose, especially Illustrator. On the otherhand they're more complicated and take longer to learn. Quote
woody64 Posted May 23, 2007 Author Posted May 23, 2007 Indeed Powerpoint can be used for that. Although programs like Illustrator and Fireworks do it much better ... Maybe, but it simply does the job in the needed way and is available ... Especially if you downsize the decal to the original minifig size you will see that a lot of details are not needed. Governor Mister Phes Posted May 23, 2007 Governor Posted May 23, 2007 You're doing a great job with Powerpoint! So keep churning out those torso designs *y* Quote
Capn Frank Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 Nice torsos woody I never thought powerpoint could edit images. kool, i'm gonna have to try that out. Thanx, P Quote
