Hello everyone,

It has been a long time since I have done a review in the Eurobricks Minifig Customisation Workshop and it is nice to get myself warm up to share this exciting coverage. Recently, my friend and I had a chance to acquire these wonderful parts since we need to get them for some project and of course, free shipping as well. Let me present the product origin and it is none other than, BrickWarriors. Without further ado, allow me to share more of this City Watch Guard or Watchman. A simplistic walkthrough to this lovely City Watch Guard.

The accessories needed to form the City Watch Guard

BrickWarriors founder, Ryan has indeed done an excellent job to make these parts to fit one another to complement it well through a series of steel colour looking of city watch helmet, armour, tassets and halberd. These suit well in darker minifigure torso and I used the quite recent Green Dragon Guard as the test subject. I am very fond of the armour especially with the belt sash. The left of the armour is also much thicker even though it restrict the arm movement but I find it very nicely done. Not too odd at all.

My full line-up

This is what I have assembled and did for this small section of watch guards that I will like to deploy in high towers to stand guard. The tower shield and the new lantern torch are some nice touch as well which is much suited for their weapon and armour assortment.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of BrickWarriors customisation products. They are certainly made up of excellent ABS plastic material that forms the detailed shape of these unique special customised designs right from the weapons down to the armour. Hopefully, one day we could see this in a pack of its own with some discount in there as well, as I am sure it will definitely entice more medieval fans to acquire these watch guards.

Don't know what, if anything in particular, influenced these parts, but some BW pieces appear to be inspired by the movie Immortals.

Thanks for the review Fangy! I love the last picture of all the guards guarding the wall. It's fun to see a group of them all together. :)

Are these in any way based off the Discworld City Watch? It might just be me, but this reminds me of them....

No, but after I released them a few fans pointed out that they kind of resemble the discworld city watch. I wanted to make a Spanish Morion helmet, but I didn't want to redo what Lego had done already so I changed a few details and proportions. I guess the result of that process is a discworld city watch helmet!

Oh, ok. Anyway that might be my next MOC planned out, especially with the promo code....
