Disco86 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (edited) This was built for the Lands of Roawia Global Challenge VII. Even if the queens henchman were harrassing the land for weeks, the Roawains made it possible to reinforce for the necessary counterstrike. When the time was right, Paul von Brickenstein landed with his troops at the royal island. They marched into catapult range to the Royal Castle and prepared for a siege. But the leaders thought, a siege could take month and it was to risky to wait for such a long time, because the evil troops were still plundering the mainland. So they decided to take the castle in one directly rushed attack. In the beginning it seems to be possible, that they could win, with their siege towers and the huge number of soldiers. But during the fight it suddenly happened. Paul von Brickenstein was fighting in the first row, when in an moment of unthoughtfulness the sword of his opponent pierced his chainmail. His knights could pull him away from the battlefield. But then he was lying in the mud, bleeding and suffering in pain. The worst thing was, he could not help the lands of Roawia with his sword in this battle anymore. The only thing that was left, was his half full bottle of finest Whisky from the highmoores of Lenflad... For the glory of Lenfald ! Disco86 Edited April 23, 2014 by Disco86 Quote

Floundie Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 (^Lol at Nate) That is one awesome trebuchet. Good thinking on your part with the web baggies. The turret looks great too, and your accompanying story is very good Quote
Infernum Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Too awesome! Love the siege tower! Any reason why the name was changed from "The Lands of Classic Castle" to "The Lands of Roawia"? Quote
robuko Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 Very nice set of builds! Is the last one a custom torso? It looks great. Quote
SkaForHire Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Too awesome! Love the siege tower! Any reason why the name was changed from "The Lands of Classic Castle" to "The Lands of Roawia"? Yes, I was wondering the same thing. I haven't participated over there in quite some time... by that link, it looks like a big change! Quote
Simon_S Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 @Infernum and SFH: It's no longer on Classic-Castle.com and it now got its own forum. So it would be senseless if we'd still call it "Lands of Classic-Castle" . Great build Paul! I love your clean building style and the castle looks very good . Quote
Master_Data Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I love that wall! Any chance we could see the interior (if any)? Keep up the good work! Quote
MassEditor Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Oh my, this is absolutely wonderful! Masterful landscaping and castle design. The siege engines in particular are the best I've seen. Quote
Disco86 Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Thanks for all your comments ! I really appreciate that. Is the last one a custom torso? The wounded torso is a custom printed part from http://citizenbrick.com/ Any reason why the name was changed from "The Lands of Classic Castle" to "The Lands of Roawia"? As Simon told correctly, we changed the forum and so we have a new name. Any chance we could see the interior (if any)? There is none Quote
