Hinckley Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Here's my entry: Two-Seater Convertible To see more pictures of this check out my site: BrickZone.net
Brick Miner Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 i really like yours hinkley... though it seems a little wide for "city" scale. i love the back-end (in fact it is perfect), the side mirrors, and the fact it has openning doors !!! (something LEGO seems to have forgotten about.) the only thing that seems questionable are the grill tiles in front of the windshield... what do those represent ??? - BrickMiner

That means a lot coming from you as I really enjoy your MOCs and haven't done a lot of vehicles yet. I want city scale cars to be wider! I'm a huge advocate for two seater vehicles in LEGO. And I have also noticed that LEGO seems to have forgotten about doors on cars. As far as the grills, that is the engine vent. Perhaps I've gone too far to include detail... i love the back-end (in fact it is perfect), perfect? *wub* Thanks!
zeki Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 My entry: Classic Red 'n' Black Car The whole gallery when public: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=253461
simonwillems Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Posting my civilian car: a tuned minivan. Yes a van, but still "a car you would see some random person driving" Here it is in blue: (click to enlarge) Brickshelf folder (when public) I hope I didn't violate the contest entry regulations by posting this motorvehicle... *sweet*
rupi Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Hi :-) I don't know if I can enter this contest with my Smart. I made it in March and I allready posted it here on EB, but the rules didn't say nothing about that so... (the moderators feel free to exclude if I'm breaking any rules) and the salesman even offered a bicycle with it the brickshelf folder
UniqueBuilder Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 And I proudly (yea right X-D ) present my entry, the Classy Sedan! "In a hurry today, are we? Don't worry, I have lots of time on my hands!" >:-) "Aw, crap, how did I end up here? This is definately not a place for me and my Classy Sedan!" X-D Feedback, pl0x!! *wacko* Vote Unique! >:-)
Hinckley Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 nice sedan Unique! I like how it combines new and classic LEGO design elements. Truly Unique! I think my favorite part, though, is the prostitute in the bow tie! HA! :-D More entries on!!
casewindu Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 This is one of my many cars but i thought i might aswell enter it to see how you guys liked it: Its a car I made from uncle Bens in the spiderman set just a lot smaller! X-D The things on the roof are rolls of wall paper because the car is a decorators. Apart from that it is a regular car so I entered it! I *wub* everyone elses! especially uniquebuilders classy sedan with the snooty man in it who will not shut up to anyone about his vehicle! :-D keep 'em cummin! ;-)
UniqueBuilder Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Thanks for all the kind feedback, people. :-$ Now, just vote for me! X-D As for the other entries: Hinckley: I don't usually like 2-seaters, but cabriolets are the exeption. *wub* Just love the overall structure of the car and the nice use of the (forgot their name :-| ) things that surround the wheels.. And the back is like Brick Miner said, perfect! *sweet* Zeki: Well, it's a nice entry, i love the old-school shape of it, but the red doesn't mix well with the black and the antennas on the roof doesn't look very good. But otherwise, this is a nice, classic car. :-) Rupi: Just gotta say one thing first: I hate Smarts. :-X But in LEGO, you can make everything look nice, and you've accomplished that in a good way. :-) Love the colors, the front is pretty well done, and the mirrors are pretty nifty. :-) But.. I miss doors! :'-( Were they too hard to put on in a good way? :-/ With doors, this one would have been complete! :-) Optikal Illushun: Gotta love that Hotrod, man. *wub* Like the shape of it, and especially the motor. The way the doors are done is pretty nifty, too. :-) I just miss something in the back.. Something.. Casewindu: I like the shape and the color. Very standard and sturdy. Don't get me wrong, it's not like average, it's very good. *wub* And the pipes on the roof does the trick. I might steal that soon. ;-) But I miss minifig space! Who's going to drive it? OMG! X-O Does the winner get a price? Like a title or a tag or something? That would be awesome.. *wub* EDIT: I just realized I use a HELL lotta smilies. I couldn't even add another one in the edit. Another edit: I saw I forgot to comment Simonwillems' minivan! X-D Well Simon, it's one heck of a minivan, gotta love that chrome and greebles. *wub*

alex54 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Finally, I went back to my parents house last week. So I took adventage of those few days to build my car with the pieces I need. I decided to build a LEGO version of a real car. This is the first time that I try. And it's not really easy to catch the spirit of the real body of the car with just few pieces that you can use in a 4-wide car. Now stop speaking, just have a look at my Renault Sport Spider in its red version and with a windshield: the front and the back And here the BS folder with bigger and more pics.
