Morgan19 Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 A few months ago, I tried my hand at creating a few minifig decal designs. There's no rhyme or reason to them except a few theme-specific areas: Half-Life 2, Dragon Quest, along with a few generic ones for the most part, with an emphasis on female decals... Which I feel official LEGO sets could definitely use more of. I haven't had the best of luck actually producing them due to some pretty bland white decal paper, but I've still had fun just creating them. It certianly is an interesting task to LEGOify a "real world" design like this... It really makes me appreciate both official LEGO minifig designers and folks like Kaminoan. Decal gallery I think the one applied decal I'm fairly happy with is Angelo, from Dragon Quest 8. I haven't had time to try printing his jacket in any other colors, but I'd love to try creating his decal in other colors for some Castle factions I'm working on. JoeMI6 Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Very nice decals. It's great to see more torsos for the few and far between lady minifigs ;-) Quote
Asuka Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Very nice decals. It's great to see more torsos for the few and far between lady minifigs ;-) I have to second that. And a very beautiful work indeed, especially your Angelo is a piece of art! *y* Quote
